Excelent place to stay with a large group of people. Must have a car available at all times to get to the beach and shops. As it is in the top of the hills is breezy and nice. The house is large and it was clean and with everything in the advertisement except for one sofa bed missing. Also at the check out they wanted to charge me 50 euros for electricity although I only spend 3 days and haven’t even turned the air con, so after I mentioned this they reduce it to 7 Euro per day. If I wouldn’t have said anything they would be happy to take the 50 Euro even though I hadn’t spent this amount. Apart from that everything was like in the photos.

Villa Teshir did not disappoint. Probably one of the best located villas in the whole of Kalkan; awesome, uninterrupted views over the bay and mountains and only a 10 minute stroll into the centre of the town, although a taxi is strongly recommended for the return journey. The terrace and pool was cleaned daily, very discretely before we got up and the interior is modern and clean, with aircon - a necessity. Ray, the owner, was very helpful before the trip and Roger, the onsite manager, was on hand to make sure the stay went smoothly. Kalkan is a gem on the Mediterranean. The town is full of superb restaurants and bars, and has a more mature, family feel. There is some very good shopping and a number of beach clubs if you want to spend the day by the sea. However, most noticible, was the genuine welcoming friendliness of the locals, I have never met nicer people. A great villa in a fantastic town.

We had a beautiful family holiday in this gorgeous, clean, well looked after villa. The caretaker is superb! Anytime we needed anything, he came within 10mins to help. whilst living in a secluded, quiet area, a 15 minutes drive will take you downside to the coast and shops. Please be advised, hiring a car is essential, if not then the taxi can be arranged. The caretaker was very helpful in that case. Turkey is a mountainous country, something we had not experienced before so we found the roads challenging. Inside the villa, we had all the essentials including kitchen utensils, AC, washing machine and the swimming pool was cleaned every morning. Another essential advice would be to take a few food items there, to settle in, while you familiarise yourself with the local area.

About Antalya Province

Villas in Antalya

Antalya is an astoundingly beautiful region of Turkey, the gateway to the southern Mediterranean region known as the Turquoise coast. The shore, flanked by rugged mountains carpeted in pine trees and olive groves, boasts miles of white sand beaches, isolated coves and famous blue seas.

The array of Antalya resorts reveals its varied nature. Discover luxurious yachts and designer shopping, but also a host of historical sites such as the Greek amphitheatre and the Temple of Apollo. Many of our villas in the Bougainvillea-clad village of Kalkan have stunning views across the Mediterranean. Visit Belek for beaches, thermal spas, golf courses and a dolphinarium; watch the fishermen and enjoy seafood in the laid back village of Kas.

Whether you're looking for a holiday lazing on the beach, hiking the Lycian Way, or visiting historical and mythological sites such as the flaming slopes of Chimaera (said to be the inspiration for Homer’s monstrous fire-breathing creature) or the church of St Nicholas (aka Father Christmas) in Demre– find a Clickstay villa in Antalya.
