The views from the villa are extraordinary and everything about our stay there was a delight. There's plenty of space and areas to rest either in the sun or shade, it was lovely to have a drink on the upstairs terrace at sundown before making a BBQ and eating poolside under the lovely grape vine. We enjoyed eating at a local restaurant and it was great to have a mini supermarket a 5 minute drive away for bits and bobs. There were lots of suggestions of things to do - we loved taking a boat trip out for swims and lunch, popping over the Kastellorizo and walking around the ruins at Patara. We hope to be back!

The property is so well equipped, lots of our friends stayed in central Kalkan and complained about not having enough of everything for their party size, this was not a problem at Tranquility. You can see how well loved it is by the owners. Each room is beautiful and the villa manager Rudi is on hand with any problems- not that we had any! The pool area is downstairs from the main living area so it was perfect when people wanted to chill out a little upstairs. There is a very handy fridge and freezer on the pool level though. We actually held our wedding at the villa and it made the perfect venue. John - the owner was so helpful with recommendations both nearby and in Islamar. The villa is a short drive from the town - about 10/15 mins, the cost of a taxi is around £9 to town. Thank you John so much for sharing your beautiful property with us, any guests who stay here are very lucky!

Villa Kahili is fabulous with every detail thought about. The rooms are beautifully furnished, the beds are very comfortable, the kitchen is immaculate and all rooms are spotless. The air conditioning is such a relief and works well. The pool is amazing, very deep, but perfect for my family. The sunbeds were really comfortable, lovely wood with luxurious cushions (no plastic sunbeds here). There is also plenty of shaded areas and parasols. The outside area and garden is really beautiful, I enjoyed looking at all the interesting plants and flowers. The views from the pool is fabulous, and the balconies and roof terrace views are breathtaking. The Villa is in a perfect location, just a short walk over the footbridge to the bars, restaurants and shops. Sheila’s communications were great, she replied to all my questions immediately. Kalkan is a pretty town with cobbled streets and a huge choice of rooftop restaurants. A visit to the Thursday market is a must.
