Tracey was exceptional as a host and couldn’t do enough for our family, the communication was excellent. The villa has everything you need for your stay and more, it’s very spacious. The bus stops are at the hop of the road and extremely reasonable. Lovely surrounding area with fantastic views from the upstairs terrace.

4 bedroom Villa Oleander - Ovacik / Hisaronu
We have recently returned from our stay at villa Oleander as a family of 12! There was plenty of room for us all. We spent 13 days there and had an amazing time. The villa itself was clean and had all the amenities you would need from cooking, cleaning and extra bedding/pilllows. The water cooler was a welcomed bonus, replacement 19ltr of water for it was only 200 lira, bargain! Another added bonus was the travel adapters in every room along with British plug sockets with usb. The pool may look small in the pictures but it really isn’t and the children had loads of fun in and out of it. In fact the pictures do not do this villa justice. The gardens are well kept with herb bushes, fruit trees and flowers. There were plenty of sun beds along with cushions that belong to the villa. We didn’t have many problems but the ones we did were sorted quickly and communication from Judith was second to none. She checked in and made sure we arrived okay as we arrived early morning. Even arriving home she again messaged to make sure we were home and settled. Having a washing machine helped make that better as I didn’t return home with a suitcase full of dirty laundry. The villa itself is located very close to the main road and many lovely restaurants. It’s a 10/15min walk to the local strip something we did most nights. A taxi back to the villa was 250lira. We ordered food a few times from Angora which was delivered to us. We went down into fethiye for a boat trip, highly recommend Zora boat and then returned another night for a wander and dinner. We went to the fish market/restaurants. The kids went on the quad bikes and cars in the square. We ate at the duck on the pond( highly recommend if you like some traditional food, although they do burgers/steak/ect) We went to paradise beach for the day. Spent time in many restaurants on the strip. We ate in cheers, had a big family 70th birthday meal in memories, went to moments(our fav) and cooked a lot of meals at the villa. The younger kids enjoyed shopping in Hisaronu, with the older ones enjoying the bars in the strip. All in all everyone enjoyed the holiday. I would recommend Villa oleander and if I was returning I would defo aim to stay there again Thank you Judith for opening your villa to us.

We had a fabulous ten nights in Gary’s villa. We were a party of two families of 4 and we had more than enough space in the villa and outside in and around the pool. The villa is in a great location, lovely and quiet but only a short stroll from everything you need - shops, bars, restaurants. It was our third year staying in the area and we will definitely be back again next year!

Travel guide

Villas in Turkey

Turkey boasts over 5,000 miles of coastline; beaches all along the coast in Turkey are breath-taking, with crystal-clear, warm waters for swimming or partaking in water sports. Boat trips to discover islands and secluded coves are popular, but if you fancy a break from the beach, why not visit some of Turkey’s ancient ruins? A combination of Greek, Roman and Byzantine styles, its mosques, temples and amphitheatres are well worth a visit. Inland, fabulous rugged mountainsides covered in pine forests and citrus groves provide a stunning contrast to the sparkling sea.

Villas in Turkey are available to rent in all the main resorts, from the liveliest party towns to tranquil retreats, ranging from the simple and traditional to the ultra-luxurious.

And whether you fancy meze in Marmaris, kebabs in Kalkan, dolma in Dalyan or imam bayildi in Bodrum, Turkish food is amazingly good value, and of course all our Turkey villas come equipped with excellent cooking facilities.

Where to go in Turkey

Antalya - Mediterranean Coast

Turkey’s Antalya, gateway to the Turquoise coast, is astoundingly beautiful. The shore, flanked by rugged mountains carpeted in pine trees and olive groves, boasts 400 miles of white sand beaches, isolated coves and famous blue seas.

Bodrum Peninsula

Bodrum’s beaches, bars and boat tours, palm-lined promenade alongside the sparkling blue sea, bustling marina, narrow streets, magnificent castle and excellent restaurants make for a lively and attractive villa holiday setting.

Fethiye

A lively port town and its tranquil surrounds; Fethiye’s beaches, turquoise waters and stunning scenery make it a great setting for a villa; the busy markets, rustic cafes, boat trips and ancient ruins make for a perfect holiday.

Dalyan

Dalyan is a pretty town on the southwest coast of Turkey, in the middle of the Dalyan Delta. Visit gorgeous Turtle Beach, the dramatic Tombs of the Kings and steaming sulphur baths for an enlightening and relaxing villa holiday.

Kalkan

Expect a villa holiday in Kalkan, on Turkey’s stunning Lycian coast, to be sophisticated and romantic. Think white washed houses, an old fishing harbour, superb restaurants, cascading Bougainvillea, and Ottoman Greek architecture.

Hisaronu

Hisarönü is a good value resort between the Mediterranean coast and the Aegean coast. A stunning hill top setting with a cooling mountain breeze, a villa here offers easy access to local beaches and sights, and a thriving nightlife.

Dalaman

Dalaman is an unspoilt and picturesque district on Turkey’s Turquoise Coast; exquisitely blue and warm sea, white sands, secluded coves, romantic bays and dolphins. Inland Dalaman is lush, mountainous and scattered with ancient ruins.

Marmaris

Marmaris has restaurants, bars and shops aplenty and a buzzing nightlife. The long pebbly beach is flanked by a wide seafront promenade, leading to the pretty harbour filled with luxurious yachts, and a stunning outlook over the bay.

Oludeniz

A sheltered lagoon with a mile long crescent of white shingle beach, deep blue waters, a lush green national park; paragliding, sunbathing and snorkelling; Olüdeniz is a picture perfect setting for a villa holiday in Turkey.

Kusadasi

A popular holiday destination for good reason, Kusadasi offers eight sun-drenched beaches, water sports, and numerous nearby days out including aqua parks and Roman ruins, combined with traditional Turkish charm and hospitality.

Kemer

The clear blue sea and the warm sun are what draw people back time and again to Kemer, but the town offers plenty more – superb harbour-side restaurants, traditional markets, and many nearby attractions for all the family to enjoy.

Turkey has been a source of controversy amongst tourists for several years. What was once a highly popular destination amongst holiday goers has seen a recent decline in tourism.
