There is a nice shaded area where you can dine if not using the bbq area, although we ate at the bbq area as it was lovely. The villa was very clean and well equipped kitchens on both floors. It is actually 2 x 2 beds apartments but it suited us well as we had 4 older kids who had the ground floor and my wife and I had the top floor to ourselves. We had large balconies at the front and rear of our floor. Communication with Konstantinos the villa owner was extremely good and he was very helpful with answering questions and keeping us informed of linen changes and pool cleaning. We would definitely recommend this villa.

Everything was beautifully clean on our arrival. The villa is superbly positioned with lovely views all around. There are no near neighbours and it is in a very tranquil environment. The baby and parents used the annexe which is 40 yards from the main house and has its own kitchenette and bathroom. The villa is very well equipped and in easy reach of nice beaches and Tavernas. We all bid it a very fond farewell on our departure. The owners are a charming and very helpful couple who respond to all enquiries at warp factor 10.

The villa itself was a delight, with stunning views from every corner, and the setting was hard to fault. The owners, Hans and Natasja, were wonderfully attentive and helpful throughout, responding very quickly and very generously with advice and information at our every request. A practical note for future guests: a car is essential. The drive up the winding hill felt a little daunting the very first time, but it quickly became second nature — by the second day none of us gave it a thought. You need the car both for the local villages and for the nearest beach, which is only about five minutes down the hill but not somewhere you would want to walk in the heat. We ate extremely well. Vitamins Taverna was excellent, with stunning bay views — so good that we went twice — and the people there were utterly charming. The other recommended Taverna next door, but was closed when we visited, but apparently is also fredahad@me.comcellent. Taverna Agni gave us a couple of very good meals too. We also spent two days at beach clubs, Bahia Mare and Verde Blue, and the food at both was genuinely good — surprisingly so, in fact, given they have something of a captive audience. Both great for a nearby beach day. We hired a boat from Fontas at Nisaki Harbour for a day at sea, and it was truly one of the highlights for our party. Exploring the beautiful, secluded coves and beaches in this part of Corfu was gorgeous. Navigating the 30 hp boat was simple enough, and no licence was needed. There was a small misunderstanding over the agreed price right at the end, but it was a minor thing and certainly did not take any shine off what was an excellent experience. We spent one pleasant morning at Cassiope, which was well worth the short trip. Beyond that we did not venture much further afield — there was more than enough on the doorstep to keep us happily occupied, and we never felt we were missing out. We were travelling with a toddler, who was very happy throughout, and the immediate area suited us perfectly. All in all, a memorable holiday in a lovely spot, and one we would repeat without hesitation. Highly recommended.

The villa is amazing, with different seating areas dependant on the sun or wind. Pool not heated so was cold in May. Track off the road to the villa is rough and quite steep so you need to be young or fit to walk it to the nearest restaurant. Kalyves a short drive with some nice seafront restaurants Ταβέρνα Ακρογιάλι being our favourite with very friendly sraff. A car is essential though. Greek Air Force F-16’s can be a little noisy at times in and out of the airport (only 3 miles away in a straight line) but not at weekends. We had the treat of a practice display while having breakfast on the terrace. Also interesting watching the ships in and out of Souda Bay. In the main though, a very peaceful villa we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
