Kefalonia is a place that once visited is never forgotten which is what happened to us about 20 years ago! After that I set about finding and building our dream home on the island We now welcome a few guests each year to enjoy our home and the island and as visitor numbers are limited, we like to think the villa now is as nice as it was when we first built it.

We are Bren and Alan, now starting our fifth year of renting our delightful villa and guesthouse in Mavrata, Kefalonia. Bren has extensive knowledge and expertise having worked in the global corporate hospitality industry for over 20 years. We hope to bring some of this experience to your stay to ensure that you have everything you need to make your stay at Villa Aglaia that perfect holiday experience. Mavrata is a lovely traditional Greek village with a pretty church at its centre and a fantastic family run taverna, Elios. The villa is within easy walking distance of Elios taverna and just 5 minutes’ drive from the many fantastic tavernas and bars on the seafront of the beautiful seaside town of Katelios where you will find lovely sandy beaches and a sheltered shallow sandy bay with crystal clear water.

My wife and I have been visiting Greece for years. We actually met in Rhodes in 1989 working as holiday reps. We honeymooned on Crete in 1992 and have visited every year with our children since 2003. So it wasn’t really a surprise to anyone that we decided to buy a property here.

Hello! We are Marcus & John (plus wives Kirsty and Tina). In 2005 we bought 5 acres of land near the coast by Almyrida in north west Crete Greece (Chania province) and built 4 holiday villa, each with 4 bedrooms and each with a private swimming pool. We price by occupancy to make it cost effective for couples/three/four people and well as larger groups of family and friends. Each house sleeps a maximum of eight.

We are both from the UK and have owned Villa Irene for 11 years. We love it for it's breath taking views. Each sunrise and sunset holds a different light or colour and we never get tired of gazing out. We love the pool too, it's just perfect for swimming, cooling down and enjoying races with friends. My parents first went to Greece in the early 1960s and fell in love with the island of Ios which was more or less unknown at the time. Our family has been going there ever since. Ten years ago we built the Three Villas on a plot of land right on Mylopotas Beach, which my father managed to purchase half a century before! The villas are available to rent in the summer but they are also very much our home; family members can't wait to holiday there in May, September and October. Although I'm new to Clickstay, I am a Superhost on Airbnb where guests have been enjoying renting The Three Villas for 10 years!
