Hi, we are Hans and Natasja, the proud owners of Villa Kalithea Corfu! We bought this beautiful spot in 2020 after we had spend many years going on holiday to our favorite Greek Island. When arriving for the first time to Villa Kalithea we immediately fell in love with it! Its spectacular view over the Ionian See and Corfu Bay is priceless. Its nearness to the beach and restaurants, walking, hiking and biking possibilities are amazing. After a thorough renovation we decided to rent it out as well since we, unfortunately, are still not able to live in Greece all year long. Currently we both are still working in the hospitality industry as Senior Cabin on Board Managers at KLM Royal Dutch Airlines. As such we have great eye for travellers needs and preferences. For us, something else is doing what we really love to do, living and experiencing Greece Islands' way of life. After traveling through Greece and the surrounding islands and other places along the Mediterranean coastlines, we came across Corfu and we were hooked. The tranquility of the bluish and turquoise sea joined with the olive & colors of the sea shoreline in Corfu had brought us to decide that this is our something else. We started holidaying in Greece when our children were young as we were always assured of a friendly welcome. We had heard so much about the beauty of North East Coast and arrived in Avlaki by chance some 25 years ago. The peaceful, sheltered bay with its crystal clear water obviously left a lasting impression. Having visited, and thoroughly enjoyed many other Greek islands, fate drew us back to Avlaki and we realised the benefit of instant relaxation when returning to somewhere you have visited before. Avlaki has hardly changed since, except for the gradual development of privately owned villas in the olive groves above the bay, one of which we are extremely fortunate to own. We were lucky to find a plot of land with planning permission in 2007 and the villa was completed in 2008. We designed Aurora as a home to be shared with others and we are pleased to have many regular clients who look forward to returning each year.

My husband David and I have always been regular visitors to the greek islands since our honeymoon 40 years ago. The beautiful island of Corfu and it's wonderful people kept drawing us back and it was here we decided to build our own holiday home. We loved the traditional village of Spartilas, known for it's spectacular views of the island. When we first visited our plot of land, a host of brightly coloured butterflies covered the vegetation. They still visit the gardens today and the villa takes its name from them- 'petalutha' is the greek word for butterfly. The views from the land took our breath away and we knew we had found the perfect location for our build. Over the next year we designed our villa to maximise the views from all rooms and terraces. It was an exciting task. We have been enjoying holidays at the villa with our friends and family for over ten years. As it is our own personal home, we have equipped it very well and provide more than most rental properties. We have made many friends on the island and have enjoyed their hospitality. You will be assured of a warm welcome from the Corfiot people.
