In 2005 we bought 5 acres of land near the coast by Almyrida in north west Crete Greece (Chania province) and built 4 holiday villa, each with 4 bedrooms and each with a private swimming pool. We price by occupancy to make it cost effective for couples/three/four people and well as larger groups of family and friends. Each house sleeps a maximum of eight.

From here, you can easily explore Chania Old Town and Venetian Harbor, Platanias, the famous Samaria Gorge, Elafonisi, Falassarna and many other unique destinations in western Crete. The houses were built when we first arrived as there were none to buy so we chose a quiet country location surrounded by olive groves. This is just the place to be - away from the hustle and bustle of the coast but with amenities close by! Peaceful and thoroughly relaxing situation set amongst the olive groves and only 8 minutes walk to the village, No noise except the occasional car passing by and ciccadas in summer.
