Let’s face it, finding a pretty place in Greece is like finding potatoes in a fish and chip shop, really not much of a challenge. Choosing which to visit is a much harder task though, and so here we are once again, saving the day and doing it brilliantly.

1 Meteora, Kalabaka

These geological wonders have been drawing onlookers for decades, spiking up towards the clouds and standing as a natural marvel to all who see them. Of course, the monastery that calls these formations home also draws eyes for its unlikely place atop them.

 2 Santorini

Hailed as one of the most beautiful location in all of Greece, Santorini is a photographer’s dream. Just throw a stone and snap what you see, it’s bound to delight.

3 Melissani Cave, Kefalonia

Known for its ‘natural skylight’ and steeped in myth as Greece always is, Melissani Cave is like something from a fairy-tale, with bright blue water and stunning rock formations.

4 Parthenon, Athens

These majestic ruins of ancient Greece are simply beautiful, leaving onlookers staring in slack-jawed wonder at this wonderful piece of history.

5 The Old Venetian Harbour, Crete

With colourful architecture, cobbled paths and a waterway inhabited by a variety of little boats, there’s little to not love about this Greek gem.

6 Myrtos Beach, Kefalonia

This one takes the crown of most photographed beach in Greece and it’s easy to see why.  With its half-moon cove and white sand lapped by azure water, not to mention the striking cliffs which surround it, it encapsulates all that’s perfect about the Greek landscape.

7 Old Town, Rhodes

This medieval town will take you back in time and never ceases to delight those that visit it. The highlight of it all however is The Palace of the Grandmaster.

8 Little Venice, Mykonos

What’s not to love? With the classic Greek-style architecture, pretty waterways and a palpable vibrancy, Little Venice is an ever-popular attraction for tourists.

9 Blue Grotto, Kastellorizo

When you visit the blue cave you might as well be transported to another land, the intensity of the colour reflected from the water is astonishing and you might even spot some wildlife too!

10: Cape Drastis, Corfu

These slivers of beach with sweeping rock faces surrounding them are astonishing to witness and are a classic Instagram shot that people love to get.
