Lovely quiet location. Orange villa very nice. Just a few negatives. No safe for keeping valuables. Temperature of pool too cold. Colder then the sea temperature. Could do with a solar panel to heat the water. Otherwise we had a wonderful weeks stay.Read more
We have just returned from a lovely 7-day stay at Villa Sea La Vie in August. Despite having a late arrival to the villa, we were met on our arrival and given a tour of the facilities by our host, Ourania, who couldn't have been more helpful throughout our stay. She even organised for us to have a lift to the local supermarket on the first morning of our stay to get some essentials. The facilities at the villa were fantastic. The Swimming Pool was a perfect size and the whole outside area was great for family time. All of the equipment in the villa seemed to be brand new which added to the experience and there was air conditioning in every room. The local area had several nice restaurants and a great parade of shops which included a supermarket and butcher which sold nice and reasonably priced food for the BBQ! The villa faces the sea, which makes for a great view throughout the day and less than a minute walk to the beach. Overall, a very enjoyable stay and I would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday in the Greek sunshine.Read more
Oasis Villa met and exceeding all our expectations, clean spacious and in a beautiful landscaped setting, pool is the cleanest we have ever had in any villa, overall a great base for our time in Rhodes so we will be back - couple of points which are only minor niggles - ant visitation in the ensuite bathroom/ master bed room only a few and probably normal for this area, and barking dogs - again probably normal ? Special mention to Katrina who was there to greet us on arrival, provide information on the villa and surrounding area and also there to see us depart.Read more
We spent a week in this villa and enjoyed everything about the house, the grounds and the area/location. It was perfect for our holiday with three generations of the family. The grounds are very well equipped with not only a swimming pool but also swings, basketball net, slide, table tennis etc. so it is not difficult to keep the children - or adults! - occupied at any time. A charming young lady checked us in and out and we enjoyed not only the house but also the area, with Pefkos beach and various hotels/bars/restaurants within walking distance. Altogether a very good choice!Read more
Our welcome to Villa Sofia was absolutely amazing and the kindness and friendliness of Stavros and Sofia, the owners of this villa, was beyond any we have experienced anywhere in the world. They came out to meet us on arrival, even though our flight was delayed and we arrived after midnight. This did nothing to diminish the smiles on the faces of our hosts. It was a Saturday night and, knowing that we'd just come from a flight, with 2 babies, and that the shops would be closed on Sunday, the next day, they had equipped the house not only with cot, high chair etc. for the babies, but also food, drink and the offer to help at any time in any way. Meeting them was the best welcome to Greece that we could possibly have had. The villa itself was beautifully equipped with everything we could want and the outside space, including the lovely pool and the barbecue area was also perfect for us. We had only 4 nights here but I do hope that we shall be back and next time, we shall stay for longer. The local taverna, whose name I've forgotten, was within walking distance and was excellent, with the same wonderful, smiling welcome. Bravo Afandou!Read more
Great villa for a family of 5, private pool, plenty of room in the villa and excellent air conditioning units. 2 bedrooms with really nice beds. The fold down sofa bed wasn't great, previous occupants must have spilled food/drinks on this and the mattresses were badly stained. Mattress protectors would be a good idea. Hire car needed, villa up a hill and quite far from local amenities, as a result great privacy and quiet at night. Nearby villa has barking dogs but they weren't about at night. There was a problem with the drain in the bathroom and the outdoor shower but once reported fixed within 24 hours. Great communication via email with the owners, very helpful. Of note they kindly let us stay late on the final day at no extra charge(we had a very late flight). The villa was modern and very clean, kitchen area a good size, toaster would be a good thing to add. We travelled to the Mikri Poli Resort Hotel most days. My understanding is the owner of this villa also owns the Hotel ( a very nice 4 star hotel in Kolymbia). As part of the rental here we were given full use of the hotel and all inclusive meals /drinks. It was a 20 minute drive away but we ate there a lot. Really good selection of healthy food and great vegetarian options. We saved a fortune on meals on this holiday and had the luxury of avoiding too much self catering by travelling to the hotel. Also we used the pools and water park several times. There is also a tennis court and astro football pitch, used the pitch a few times in the evening for a kick about (3 boys all football mad). Fantastic holiday and great value for money especially with the bonus of using the Mikri Poli. As mentioned mattress protectors for sofa bed and a toaster, otherwise perfect villa! many thanks the Scott familyRead more
