If your booking hasn't been accepted

- Your booking status is “on request”

If you make a booking request and don’t hear back from the owner within a reasonable amount of time, then you can send them a message to prompt a response. If they still don’t reply, use the filters on Clickstay to find another suitable property. Remember, you can read about the owner to see how many previous bookings they’ve had, how quickly they respond and what sort of reviews they’ve had at the bottom of the property page.

- Your booking status is “declined”

Sometimes, on request bookings are declined by owners. If this happens, use our search filters to find a similar property. Remember, if you select “instant booking” properties then you’ll only be looking at those that have got up-to-date and accurate calendars, and your booking can be accepted immediately.
