5 bedroom Villa La Sirena, Southern Spain
The photos online do not do this property justice, it was stunning. Views amazing, well thought layout with plenty of space for groups of people. Lots of storage, fridge and freezers , excellent equipment etc. We all had a fantastic time. My only issue would be the communication with the owners was sporadic but Manola and Rosa were fantastic at communicating. It would be helpful if the owners would directed us to communicate directly with Manola and Rosa, as I felt I was pestering the owners. The swimming pool drain cover was broken and my daughter in law cut her foot. Manola apologised and took the broken cover away, but this was not replaced and my daughter then cut her foot quite badly, which was a shame. Apart from that it was a very enjoyable experience.

5 bedroom Modern Villa, 5 Bedrooms, Sleeps 12, Private Pool, Jacuzzi
The Villa itself was stunning, clean & perfect for a big family holiday. We were a group of 8 adults, 2 babies & 2 toddlers. We particularly loved the gorgeous open spaces to socialise with families, indoor & outdoor. The pool was fab too, the kids played from morning until night. There is shallow bits by the edge of the pool but we got the kids life jackets so they were safer. The location worked well for us as it was a 5 minute walk to the supermarket & a few shops (ice cream shop was delicious). Uber eats from all the local restaurants & cafes which was great. The walk to the nearest beach is about 40mins so was hard with kids but taxi wasn’t expensive. 15 minute drive to old town which we loved. The area is very quiet which we enjoyed. The bedrooms were great, the master bedroom was stunning but the other bedrooms were great too, air conditioning, comfy beds & they all had their own en-suites. Pool table & ping pong table kept everyone entertained & we loved the outdoor kitchen & ice machine. Communication was super easy, professional & straight forward. We loved out stay at the villa & would recommend it for a big group stay.

3 bedroom Spain Villa El Olivo
This villa is a lovely hideaway, slightly off the beaten track, up in the hills with amazing views. It's really well-kitted out, A/C throughout including all three bedrooms, a beautiful well-maintained pool with plenty of loungers, and what was really lovely is the kitchen was not only well-equipped but had lots of cooking basics - oil, condiments, herbs, tea, coffee etc. We arrived at night which was slightly harder to see landmarks but if you head for Alcaucin on SatNav and look out for the restaurant Venta A La Para, then take the final stretch slowly, it's actually very easy. Check-in and check-out was really easy and Dirk, the owner, was tremendously accommodating with timings etc. All in all a lovely place.

Wow wow wow.. this is one home we are missing already .. Let's start with the important booking part... Martyn answers any questions you have ... Easy to book the dates you require... Easy payment option dependant on timing of holiday to pay a deposit so both parties know its secure ans balance a few weeks before you depart for your holiday... Huge thank you to Jenny... and Fransisco... absolutely lovely people.. they take care of the garden and pool and if you are like us and run out of gas bless her heart Martyn delivered a gas bottle gone 10pm ready for the next day . Above and beyond in our opinion ! Rooms are immaculate !.. Kitchen has everything you need and want... Outdoor space ... well my goodness bbq area...gas ring for the paella ( yes I made several times)... Sunbathing area sat aside from gated pool area so no need to worry about younger children .. The house easily accommodates 6/7 in rooms but there are sofa beds in the lounge Upstairs led by external stairs is a beautiful appartment with two bedrooms and a full shower bathroom ..on entrance is a open plan sofa bed and kitchen with toaster kettle and fridge freezer.. with glasses...bowls....cups... This appartment can be booked with the main house if needed for the larger parties or families holidaying together .. but the main house to us has more than enough room to accommodate 7 in bedrooms and then make the choice to add the above appartment if more rooms needed but there are sofa beds available in the very large lounge area... The home has a washing machine in the main bathroom which was used ...its a must for me on holidays and means I can take more back ... The second twin room has its own bathroom ensuite with shower Aircon in all bedrooms in the main house and upstairs aircon unit in open lounge kitchen that does reach all rooms if needed. Martyn had organised with Jenny to grab a few bits and pieces to start us off as we arrived rather late ....but do not worry the map directions Martyn gave us led us straight to the home ... Home is very secure Just down the road about 10 mins no more is a local shop which does stock english items along with Spanish groceries... we felt very welcome... Antequera isn't to far away....absolutely stunning castle and lovely town with shops aplenty.. The area is clean and mountain views are astounding...I watched the sun rise and fall... Rural...yes.... character absolutely ... Walking Hiking Biking Holidaying Relaxing Its all their... It is possible for Martyn to have fresh pans and cakes delivered at a minimal cost ...it really is worth it ..!!! Having never experienced inland its stuck with me...so much so I havent hesitated to book again for next year Easily get from malaga to the home... Wifi is available but let's not forget you are set in the beautiful mountains Martyn will answer any questions you have ..help you with whatever you may want to do...or think you cant do...whether its a reasonably priced place for lunch or evening meals or a tapas...if there is a pharmacy or shops to go too.. whatever it is Martyn for us has been one outstanding host and having rented many many homes we do thank him for making our holiday that perfect getaway My family and friends loved the space... how clean ... and how at ease everything was Plus!!!... you can actually have fun ... no stringent rules on kids making noise...families we have all been there ... Last but not least ... goats!!!! Farmers move their goats and boy these simple things we dont see in the UK we got to see! Thank you Martyn (see you next year) Thank you to Jenny and Fransisco for everything you do.

Where do we start... Never been to this area...but wanted to try inland with family and friends Martyn is an absolutely outstanding owner Every detail covered ..every question answered .. The house has rustic charm but with all mod cons which is what id looked for Everything and more is at this home Details sent to locate house were spot on and having rented homes over 20 years this is a rarity. Martyn the host literally is available 24/7 He has knowledge of everything you can think of and gives options to suit all The house is absolutely stunning the pictures really dont show you this Gem of a home. You have 3 large bedrooms downstairs ..a larger than average spanish kitchen literally with everything you need... a large lounge area with two sofa beds that can be used for your size of party 1 main large bathroom next to marriage bedroom with washing machine which is a plus for me as lighter packing and means you can shop more .. another bedroom 2 twin beds with a shower ensuite and another room with 2 twin beds all rooms have aircon ... Upstairs if your party is large enough for the home is a lounge area again with a sofa bed and little kitchen with fridge freezer and sink...two separate bedrooms and a separate shower bathroom ... The home was spotless... Pool is amazing ... very clean Ample tables and seats ... sun loungers galore Washing line ready and waiting if you choose to use Large spa of garden area with lemon trees.. olive trees fig trees... Martyn is planning more fruit trees so im back for those next year Martyn is the perfect host to rent the home from so much so we have another booked following from this booking so another review incoming. And I've pre asked if we can stay again next year Easy to.book ...Easy to pay... Villas in Andalucia

A mix of magnificent coastline, stunning hinterland and rich cultural history is what makes Andalucia one of the best holiday destinations in Europe. Andalucia, also pronounced Andalusia, is an autonomous community in the south of Spain boasting gorgeous landscapes, endless stretches of postcard beaches and more tourist attractions than you’d ever think you'd need for a holiday. From the traditional food and customs, to the friendly locals, festivals and varied landscape, this beautiful region has much to offer. Andalucia lies on the southern coast of Spain, with ten airports in the region; the two main being Malaga and Seville, with direct flights from the UK taking no longer than 3.5 hours.

As Spain's southernmost region, Andalucia’s beautiful year-round climate makes it stand out from the rest of the Iberian peninsula, boasting over 700km of soft sand beaches, warm waters and some of the most glorious costas in the country. With a history spanning over 50,000 years, discover a wealth of ancient remains, cultural gems and architectural wonders such as The Alcázar of Seville and The Alhambra, in the province of Granada, which is one of the most visited monuments in Spain. It's a region of tradition, where you can relax during siesta or go wild during fiesta, dance the night away in a vibrant Marbella nightclub or enjoy an authentic flamenco dinner show in Malaga. Immerse yourself in the traditional Andalucian way of life in Cordoba, Cadiz or Jerez de la Frontera, or revel in the metropolitan atmosphere of modern Málaga city, where you can enjoy everything from seafood paella to exploring the works of one of Spain’s most famous artists at The Picasso Museum.

Taxis are ideal for getting around the cities, while Andalucia is well connected with plenty of bus routes and train services. Think alfresco dining, festivals and historical sites. Festivals occur year-round, and the most popular are located in the provinces of Granada and Cordoba. With an enviable number of World Heritage Sites and historic monuments, Jaén, Granada and Seville provinces are the perfect destinations for those seeking some culture. It resonates with culture, colour and history, with countless historic monuments, museums and festivals. Comprised of eight provinces, the coast is the most popular for its Blue Flag beaches, golden, white and dark sands and calm waters of popular resorts like the Costa del Sol and Costa Tropical. While the Atlantic kisses the shores of Huelva and Cadiz provinces to the west, the provinces of Malaga, Granada and Almeria have the Mediterranean sea to enjoy.

The diverse landscape ranges from the snowy, rugged mountains of the north and south, to the sun-drenched, family-friendly coast, where the beaches of the Costa del Sol and Costa Tropical provide the perfect backdrop for a relaxing summer holiday. Discover a land of contrasts where you can snow hike on Sierra Nevada in the morning and sunbathe on the La Rijana beach in the afternoon. The Sierra Nevada is a hikers' and skiers' dream, while the rolling hills, cliffs and rivers open the door to countless outdoor activities and adventures, such as surfing, paragliding, climbing and kayaking. The pleasant climate provides the perfect opportunity for golf, with over 100 world-class courses to choose from. Enjoy the breath-taking scenery and warm atmosphere of southern Iberia and take home memories to last you and your loved ones a lifetime.

Whether you're looking to explore the sites, catch some rays or just sit and watch the world go by, Andalucia is an ideal Spanish escape destination. The region will have you exploring new places and at the same time making you feel right at home.
