I have been renting property in Spain, mainly on the coast, since 1997, I now only look after property inland. I bought this villa to live in (eventually!) I love all aspects of rural Spain, though, still go to the coast for day trips. Having owned this villa since the birth of my daughter, (2003) we have encountered all sorts of problems, all of which I am pleased to help with. Our names are Robert and Ellen and we have been hosting on various platforms since June 2008. We came to the area on holiday, fell in love with it and bought an apartment 😂 Our guests will receive lots of information about the area before their holiday and although we won`t personally be on site during their stay in our apartment we will always be available to contact if they need any advice or help during their trip. We know the area very well and are happy to advise on attractions, activities, places to visit, bars and restaurants etc.

Originally from Australia i have spent more than 30 years in Spain, the last two on the Atlantic coast in Islantilla, 20 min drive from Portugese Algarve. I love the place i leave: beautiful gardens surrounding one of the best golf courses ive seen , incredible sea food at affordable prices and kms long beaches with golden sand. In my small and exclusive condo majority of owners are German , quite an intetnational group we are :). I have decided to share this paradise with my guests and rent my whole house during Summer. We are a married couple living in Andalusia, between the sea and the mountains. I am an architect, born in London, and my wife, from Cadiz, is an artist. We love to travel and greatly appreciate simple spaces, good conversation and good wine. For years, we have designed and built our homes as life projects into which we put all our experience and love so that those who come to stay enjoy their time here and feel welcome.

Hi my name is Robert and together with my wife Rose we have three children. We fell in love with Villa Vista and this beautiful part of Spain in 2018 and that feeling has never left us. What makes this place so special to us is the incredible variety it offers. Within less than an hour, you can be skiing in the Sierra Nevada in the morning and enjoying lunch on the beach in the afternoon. We love the combination of sea and mountains: hiking and mountain biking in the hills, watersports along the coast, or simply relaxing and sunbathing — even in December and January — thanks to the mild climate. The cultural richness of the region is just as impressive. The Alhambra in Granada is truly breathtaking, Málaga is vibrant and full of life, and charming white villages like Frigiliana and Nerja never fail to amaze us. Almuñécar itself has a very special atmosphere: authentic Spanish streets, a lively but relaxed town center, and of course the endless variety of chiringuitos along the coast. Long lunches and dinners with fresh food, a sea breeze, and stunning views have become some of our favorite family moments. Villa Vista is our place to slow down, enjoy life, and create memories — and we love sharing that experience with our guests
