Check in/out and communication with the agent was very easy and went very smoothly. A nicely furnished apartment with a lovely balcony area. We were a party of 4 (2 couples) and it was ideal for us....I think it would be a little cramped with 6! The kitchen had a good amount of crockery, cooking utensils etc and a washing machine which was very useful. Overall positives: nice, clean apartment. Good size for 4 or a family. Nice complex setting. Communication with agent very easy. Good location (a little out of town, so it was quiet in the evening) but only a short (10min) walk into town. Overall negatives: pillows a bit hard and odd shape (?) for English visitors, no 'basics' supplied ie. washing up liquid, toilet rolls, dishcloths etc. , and only 3 beach towels supplied. Also - pool was advertised as open until end of September and it closed on the 7th. We queried this with the agent, who contacted the complex and it opened up again but only for a few hours....so if you're relying on having access to the pool it might be worth checking beforehand. We enjoyed our stay here and would definitely go back to this apartmentRead more
This is a somewhat rustic but very livable cabin. It was well-maintained and very clean. Not many restaurant or shopping options in the area so you should know that ahead of time and plan ahead. We were especially impressed with David. He was a star. He was there to help us with check in and check out and answer all of our questions.Read more

I needed to work on my thesis and was looking for somewhere I could work with a view, close to a small town for food and with a variety of hiking routes on the doorstep. This place met all those expectations. The photos provide accurate representation of the rooms and the surrounding landscape. As I was staying over a week and not seeking to explore wider than the immediate vicinity the owner kindly offered a transfer to and from the airport which was much appreciated. The weather was at times cold whilst I was there so was appreciative of the central heating and the wood-burning stove, not something I'd thought about or checked when looking for accommodation. The kitchen was small but equipped with the essentials and there were was a welcome set of provisions provided, a nice gesture. I bought a few staples enroute via a stop at the supermarket. There are some small shops in town (sell milk, cheese, time, wine, oil) but if you've missed market day (wednesday) and like me, are without a car, stocking up on fruit and fresh vege till next market day is important. The walks were great, I loved the western one. I found a beautiful route just behind the property that gets you up high with a vista pretty quickly -nice for a sundowner or to clear the head. Can imagine this place would be great for couples, friends that enjoy hiking and those traveling solo like looking to relax and immerse into Spanish rural life. Wi-Fi worked fine throughout my visit. My slight marking down on equipment was the DVD TV which seemed to stop DVDs playing about 2/3 the way in and the oven which I couldn't get to stay alight. Suspect there's a knack to it, instructions would be helpful. The gas hob worked fine so it didn't impinge on the experience.Read more
