Rebecca is a beautiful home with everything you need for an amazing stay. We had the heated pool option and it was wonderful. Added bonus was Smart TV's and Netflicks. Beautiful overall complex. Lovely neighbours and great positiin in respect to Disney/ Universal etc. The only small thing was ants by the pool. We dealt with them but I would recommend the owners looking into it as they seems to re-appear. We would definately book again. Thsnk You :)Read more
Private pool for the kids. Very quiet in the area and safe. Golf course was fabulous with good food and service. Villa had everything you would ever need. Would definitely return.Read more
Hi the property was a little further away than the driver of our group liked. It was very good value for money. Linen and cleanliness good. Pool was barely warm and some maintenance re broken screening weeds etc could be actioned by the MC. No one called us as promised at any time during our stay to check if things were okay. For us it was okay as we weren't using the games provided in the garage but if we had wanted to there were items missing which would have hampered a family playing those games... very pleased with the area - quiet and safe, gated community. Decor etc a little tired but we knew from photographs what we were getting:) thanksRead more
A very comfortable fortnight. Facilities good and many recently new and seem good quality. A small concern that we had some issue with insects indoors at one point. Would still recommend.Read more
We and escepially the kids loved the house, the pool and of course the game room. It was the first trip for the kids to the States and they were so impressed. Some photos on this side are no more current (sofa, chairs, refrigerator...) but nevertheless it was nice. We would like to make two "suggestions": The queen bed room should have a chest of drawers for the little things which are unsuitable for the closet, space in the room would be enough And one or two more sun loungers would be nice; there were 4 cushions for loungers but only 2 loungers. And sometimes we had to discuss with the pubescent teenagers who takes a lounger and who a chair... The two little problems we had on weekend were solved on the same day resp. on next weekday - thank you Guy. And thank you Angela that we could stay two more hours in the house on departure day. So we could go directly to the airport. And in sum: we had a great holiday in this house!Read more
We have stayed at Southern Dunes several times, and really enjoy the area - close enough to the main Orlando attractions but far enough away to be peaceful. The area around Southern Dunes is a lot less busy than around International Drive but has plenty of places to shop and eat, including the excellent Manny's Chophouse. The villa was identical to those we have stayed at nearby before. The living and kitchen area is spacious and having 2 bathrooms is great in the mornings. There was also plenty of crockery and cutlery and enough utensils to get by, although other than 2 dishwasher tablets and a bin bag nothing else is left so you will need to pick up things like washing up liquid, kitchen roll and handwash if you need them. Dollar Tree as you come out of Southern Dunes between Winn-Dizie and Walmart is ideal for these as you can get smaller sizes of good quality branded products for $1 (including laundry detergent if you want to use the washing machine in the garage) which will be enough for your stay. As noted in other reviews there are one or two maintenance issues which the management company haven't attended to. The cooker drawer is still loose and one of the cooker rings was loose and not working. The pool light would also flicker and go dim after a few minutes, and we were unable to retract the blinds on the patio door leading to the pool. None of these really detracted from our stay however. One thing we did find a bit strange was the air conditioning could not be set below 75 degrees Farenheit. The welcome manual also had a note about not setting the air conditioning below this temperature (which was impossible anyway) as the unit could freeze. This has never been an issue at the other similar villas we have stayed at on Southern Dunes, and resulted in the villa being a bit too warm on occassions. We did enjoy our stay here again, and would certainly return. This villa represented very good value for money compared to similar properties on Southern Dunes.Read more
