4 bedroom Villa Chara With Heated Pool, By Estia
The villa was lovely and clean and the pool and bbq areas were perfect for outdoor living. There is a nice shaded area where you can dine if not using the bbq area, although we ate at the bbq area as it was lovely. The villa was very clean and well equipped kitchens on both floors. It is actually 2 x 2 beds apartments but it suited us well as we had 4 older kids who had the ground floor and my wife and I had the top floor to ourselves. We had large balconies at the front and rear of our floor. Communication with Konstantinos the villa owner was extremely good and he was very helpful with answering questions and keeping us informed of linen changes and pool cleaning. We would definitely recommend this villa.

2 bedroom Villa Liakos -2 Bedrooms With Pool Garden Area Near From Beach
The Villa was good value for money and perfectly adequate for us. The village of Pigi was so picturesque, a typical Greek village, all the villagers were most helpful and friendly. The village itself has a bakery, 2 butchers, a more than adequate small supermarket , a chemist , doctors and 2 tavernas, both of which served meals. We didn't hire a car and although it would be beneficial, there was no need to hire a car as the local bus service was quite frequent and enabled us to get out and explore the local area . We also had a lovely stroll to the beach although as the weather was so hot we decided not to walk there everyday. There were several villages and towns close by to explore, I would highly recommend this most beautiful part of the world.
The villa itself has everything needed, washing machine, adequate cooking utensils and a nice patio etc. The pool area was absolutely amazing, with Barbeque area, fridges to keep food and drink cool , absolutely amazing.
The only down side was the next door neighbours dogs constant barking. I mean constant barking !!!!!
Apart from the constant noise of the dog, I wouldn't hesitate to return or recommend it for a beautiful, relaxing holiday.

2 bedroom Villa Francesca
Villa Francesca is set on a beautiful hillside location. A short drive to the beach, lovely restaurants and shops.
I would recommend a car of staying at the villa.
The children loved having a private pool. Eating out on the veranda was lovely with great views of the surrounding countryside.
The owner was very quick to come back to us via email with any queries we had.
Overall we had a lovely relaxing week and would definitely return

3 bedroom Blue Paradise Villa
Blue Paradise Villa is a stunning and well maintained blend of modern and traditional just walking distance from the beautiful and quiet town of Magarites. The facilities are excellent, the pool is perfect for those lazy days or to cool off after a day of excursions. The owner, Elias, met us on arrival and supplied a gift pack which was really kind, he is very friendly and made us feel so welcome, he even bought some homemade traditional Greek food for us one day made by his wife, which we had that evening with a local wine and produce, my only regret is we did not invite them both over for dinner as we made lots! Hopefully next time!
Our children loved the pool, and the jacuzzi bathtub, we breakfasted on the balcony table and had lunch and candlelit evening meals on the main patio table, the new sun shade is very good for those really hot days. We ate in Margarites on several evenings at Taverna Mantalos, very nice food and again, very friendly people and extremely good value. Margarites is a quiet and rustic charming town, we loved evening walks to the taverna and shops for supplies of local Raki.
We travelled to local beaches at Panormo and Bali, both sandy and with local amenities very close by, the beach at Bali has a calmer sea, sheltered by the surrounding bay. No need to panic about arriving early, these beaches were surprisingly quiet but with a good vibe, another pleasing characteristic of our trips out in Crete.
We ventured out to Rythymnon to the old harbour town area for some 'hustle and bustle' and despite the vigorous attempts of harbour front seafood restaurants to get us seated, we navigated through the thriving back streets and found a beautiful spot to have lunch at Taverna Lorenzo, well worth a visit. Later in the week we took the kids to Water City to SSE of Heraklion, a good water park with plenty of slides to go at for all levels of fear. Food here was what one might expect.....
Back to the Villa: we have stayed in apartments, hotels and villas, none have been as pleasant to simply chill and enjoy being in such a wonderful place as Blue Paradise. I wondered why there hasn't been many reviews posted lately, the visitors book in the Villa certainly has dozens of messages like ours, thanking Elias for such a lovely stay. Then the penny dropped, perhaps they want to keep it to themselves, but that simply wouldn't be fair......

2 bedroom Villa Liakos -2 Bedrooms With Pool Garden Area Near From Beach
The villa is situated in a charming village environment. As we were at the villa during the lead up to Easter, there were several services at the nearby church in the morning and evening which we did not find too obtrusive. The rooms all had en-suites which made it easy for our family to be comfortable and the owners went out of their way to ensure everything ran smoothly. The pool area and garden were so lovely, we spent nearly all our time there. With the pool house having a small kitchenette where the owners left our welcome pack which included tea, coffee, jam, marmalade, honey, cake and biscuits as well as daily hard boiled eggs, we felt very well catered for. Although the villa is situated in the friendly village of Pigi, it is only a short drive down to the historic town of Rethymno and the bars, shops and restaurants to suit everyones taste.
