  3 bedroom Luxury Villa In Elounda Only 30m From The Sea With Private Pool
  We stayed for two weeks in early August 25. Two adults and two teenage boys (16&14). The villa itself is very modern with all the facilities of home plus AC throughout keeping things nice and cool. Huge flat screen smart TV where kids could access Netflix, Amazon Prime video. The view from the pool terrace is fantastic with an uninterrupted view looking out across the bay of Elounda. It was perfect for our family holiday. Elounda itself is a nearby stroll of 10/15 mins along the coast road which has a paved footpath all the way. There is a steep road of about 50m to walk down from the villa to the coast road which would not be suitable for very young children / people with walking disability or elderly. No issue for us but could be for others. The pool is beautiful, very very clean clear water and about 4ft deep throughout, infinity pool - little ones would need to take care of the drop edge. Elounda is a lovely resort, lots and lots of restaurant choices, quiet family orientated location without loud bars/ clubs - perfect for laid back relaxed holiday. Beach is clean, sun beds available all day except maybe weekends which are a little busier - sea very very calm due to the peninsula with almost zero waves and no steep drop into the sea. Highly recommend this lovely villa and resort location. Car parking at the Villa is available and easy. Both owners were very very responsive during the booking process and during our stay, incredibly helpful and allowed us to stay in the villa beyond our checkout time as we had a later flight - hugely appreciated!!

  If you are looking for the ultimate de-stress holiday this one is perfect. The villa location is excellent if you are looking for a bit of peace and quiet. The main harbour (restaurants, bars ect) is about a 15 minute walk downhill, however unless you are super fit a cab is nessacary to get home, only about 5 euros. The villa exceeded our expectations as it truly felt like a home form home with everything you need. The owners really have made it comfortable with a good selec tion of books , DVDs and music to keep you entertained. The kitchen is fully functional with almost every appliance you could wish for even down to the little things like sharp knives, garlic crusher ect (not things you normally get in a rental villa). The bedrooms are air conditioned (godsend) . The pool is just about right ,not too deep if you have children. You do need to be able to drive so that you can get around. What more can I say other than I will definately make a return visit and reccommend to family and friends.

  Really loved the location and the amazing views over Elounda. We had a great stay. The villa is within walking distance of the old village where there are Tavernas for food and drinks and you can certainly walk into Elounda but it's a bit of a walk back up the hill. We made good use of the pool as the weather was very hot but the beaches around Elounda and Plaka were beautiful and not too busy. Plenty of shops in Elounda for supplies and plenty of great places to eat. We had a perfect holiday.

  We had a fantastic holiday with our 2 teenage daughters. The villa is just as described, it is very well equipped, the bedrooms are comfortable and the air conditioning is a godsend! It was very quiet, not overlooked and had great views. Its a great base from which to explore eastern Crete.The pool was great and Colin came 3 times in 2 weeks to maintain it, he was a great source of knowledge and made great suggestions for places to visit and eat. He also used to live in the village next to us!! Sarah came with clean towels and bed linen twice which was great and more than we expected. There are also a great selec tion of books, cds and dvds...Id forgotten how much I like Rick Astley!! The villa is far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Elounda and yet close enough to walk down and then back up burning off any excess calories (even our teenage daughters didnt complain too much). The restaurants and bars in Elounda and nearby Plaka offered a varied choice and we didnt have a poor meal in our 2 weeks there. Our only regret is that we didnt try the taverna Pano Elounda. A fantastic holiday was had by all, we would definitely recommend it!
