We stayed at No10 Verina Villas from 15th to 29th August 2016. There were 6 adults and 4 children ranging from a 10yr old to a 21 month old. The facilities and bedrooms were excellent and each family had a room to suit with their own bathroom so we were not sharing. The rooms layout fitted exactly what we wanted. The private pool was a terrific bonus and enjoyed by the whole family. Thank you to Cath and Terry for organising the dates and giving us information about the Vila and the area, initially. Thank you to John and Sue who, as managers, made certain our stay there was everything we wanted. Communication between ourselves and Cath and Terry and John and Sue was excellent. John arranged our transfer from and to Bodrum airport and the hire of 2 cars. He also advised us of and took us to local medical facilities when our granddaughter developed an ear infection. I would say that, if there are young children on holiday, then a car is essential to get around. It is easy to drive in Turkey. In my opinion better than in England, the roads are less crowded. Cars do come with suitable car seats if requested. If only adults, then a Dolmus could be suitable, especially to Kusadasi. However, if you want to go further then a car....Hire rates are reasonable. We found the area where Verina Villas are is mainly a Turkish area and it is very quiet and peaceful. We found that the shops etc,. do not cater for hoards of English tourists. The area has many supermarkets and the food is quite reasonably priced. Alcohol is reasonably priced as well. It is about 15 minutes walk to Silver Sands beach, which is lovely and safe for the children. It could be done in 10mins if walking quickly. We took the cars with the children, it was easier with all the beach gear. The restaurants offer mainly Turkish cuisine but there are suitable alternatives of English dishes as well. We ate at mainly one restaurant (Isiklar) which was very welcoming and provided varied meals..... All in all a very good stay.Read more
The villa was way better then we expected .we taught we were getting a 4 bed room villa but there were 5 bed rooms all the bed rooms had access to a veranda this we did not know .The swimming pool was was fantastic the photos on the web site did it no justice.you had the local shop across the road from the villa and they were very friendly and helpful.villa was only one minute from the main road were you got the local buses to the city center.we had a fantastic holiday and would definitely use the villa again on our next trip to TurkeyRead more
The house was better then expected at the site. It was lovely although the beds could have been better and even with the screen door/windows it was difficult to prevent from gnats. The swimming pool is large enough, the space is lovely and there is enough privacy with sun and shadow. The distance to the shops and the sea is really less than a walk of 10 minutes and even with hot temperature it can be done easily by foot. Kusadasi is a village fair especially with lots of shops and friendly Turkish people who of course aims to do business. John and Sue do a marvelous job and are available for funny and stupid things you may have to ask. If necessary the hospital in Soeke might be better then Kusadasi. We encountered some ear infections in more than one person. Taking augmentin with you can be a good suggestion. The only thing we were disappointed at was the Hamam in Ladies BeachRead more
We have just returned from a lovely relaxing family holiday at Peach Grove. The villa is beautiful, clean and spacious and well maintained. You can always find a shaded area on the patio and if it gets too hot the air conditioning is wonderful. In general the photos probably dont do the villa justice. The swimming pool and surrounding area is quiet, lovely, clean and well maintained . This area of Davutlar is quite quiet and relaxed which was just what we wanted. All the local shops, restaurants and beach are no further than a 10 minute walk away. Kusadasi is only a 20 minute bus ride away for great shopping and a lively night out . John and Sue were also very friendly and approachable and a great source of help and information. They also did our airport transfers as well which was a great touch & a good opportunity to get acquainted with them and the area. We will definitely be back !Read more
The property managers Jojn & Sue are excellent and give you a warm welcome from the start. The villa is brijant, large and spacious. Very clean and well located between the peach trees! Relativly close bye they have opened a new supermarket approx 10 min walk from the villa. Tips: Take the dolmus to kusadasi for the weekly food or clothes marker only TL 4.25 per person and kids under 12 travel for free! Silver sand beach is apprx 5 min walk from the villa Market at Davalatur is also great fun and cheaper then Kusadassi. Water will be delivered on your doorstep, they come by daily, costs 5TL per 19/20litres. Really we dont have any regrets in staying at this villa! Again John & Sue, thanks for the hints & tips!Read more
