I am an University teacher of Economics in Palermo, Italy. I own this villa composed of 4 different apartments (can sleep 24 people, garden 3.200 square meters), extra large pool salt water and no chlorine, that i rent weekly for holidays. It's situated in a beautiful countryside and beachside (km. 3 from the sea) area, close to amazing archaeological sites and interesting monumental towns: Segesta, Selinunte, Agrigento, Monreale, Palermo, Mozia, Marsala, Trapani... I take care of this villa and host tourists coming from all over the world, it's an exciting experience that renews day by day my life: new people, different languages, different habits, new friends...

Ciao a tutti! My name is Daniela and I am lucky to have been coming to Soriano nel Cimino and the surrounding area of Tuscia my whole life. We are an Anglo-Italian family based in Sussex, England. We have long family ties with this beautiful town through my father, where we continue to spend our holidays with family and friends. Our property Casa Renata is used as a home away from home, and so ideally fully equipped with all you could need for a long or short stay. We hope you enjoy this place as much as we do. The house was built in 1990, where once stood an old farmhouse. The land was bought especially due to its prime location to Soriano and its surrounding beauty. We have a number of fruit trees; olive, cherry, fig, peach, lemon, hazelnut, which our guests are more than welcome to help themselves to. We also provide our guests, with a taster of our very own extra virgin olive oil within our welcome pack, which is full of local goodies, ideal to use as a dressing. It is all about the food for us, so whether you choose to stay at home and cook for yourselves in the well equipped family kitchen and on the BBQ or eat out in Soriano’s superb restaurants, the villa is an ideal base for you. What makes our region unique? This area of Italy, known as La Tuscia, is one of the country’s hidden gems. Although Italians have been visiting this area for years, few non-Italians have discovered this diverse region of northern Lazio and its many festivals. We love to spend warm Spring and Summer days lounging by the lake, Lake Vico for a more peaceful and relaxed vibe or Lake Bolsena with its many bars, restaurants and water sports. And after all these years we still love to visit and explore this area’s array of medieval towns, I recommend the unique town of Civita di Bagnoregio as a must see. Back in Soriano you can live like a local and immerse yourself into an authentic Italian community. With our local knowledge of the area we are more than happy to recommend places to visit, restaurants etc and shopping tips!

Originally from Canada, our dream was to purchase a home in Tuscany. Throughout our journey to find the perfect home, we agreed that the view was a must-have. We wanted to have a view that was breathtaking and that we could have those panoramic views. When we found this home it had those views and one surprise was that we were astonished at how beautiful the sunsets were. Every night we experienced a different sunset and each one was more beautiful than the other. We decided to name our home Casa Ora d'Oro meaning "Golden Hour". We want to share the experience and feeling that we had for the first time and still have today. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do and experience the same wonder and beauty that we do. We are situated in a peaceful and tranquil location with the ability to immerse yourself in nature. While being in what we feel is the most perfect spot in Tuscany, we are located just over a couple of hours from Rome and a little over an hour from Florence. You can reach Pienza, Montepulciano, and Montalcino within minutes. Enjoy all the wonderful things Italy has to offer while still being able to live like a local. We offer a typical and traditional Tuscan experience while still having access to modern amenities such as Air conditioning, Dishwasher, Wifi, Washer, and Dryer. We are a family of 4 and fell in love with the Piemonte over 15 years ago. Our sons now love it as well and enjoy the great nature, landscape, people and of course food. The people, being in the real Italy with the locals that welcome you, in combination with the landscape, climate and wine&food made us decide to buy our holiday home here. As we love the region, we want to share that with people who value similar things. Therefore we rent it to others as well

I bought this beautiful farm house in 2006. I have spent time renovating and developing the property for holidays. I try and keep the original, character features, while adding modern features. Every bedroom has an ensuite shower room, two have a bath. I chose this house because of its location. We have fantastic views of the medieval town Atessa, and you can see the Sea! Although we are rural, we are just five minutes to shops, bars and restaurants. Therefore peace and tranquility when at home... maybe the odd tractor, or donkey. This really is Secret Italy - not many tourists, manly local people and their guests during the holiday month of August.

We have lovingly restored this villa situated on 0,5 acres of land. Tranquility and peaceful environment attracted as to the house when we saw it, as well as proximity to Sciacca and local beaches.

Andrea has a 2 bedroom apartment in Como, Italy.

I'm italian, from Venice, my beloved city. Me and my family (I have 3 children) moved to Luxembourg many years ago, but I love spending my free time on this area of the Dolomites mountains. My favourite things are: travelling and e-biking especially with my family: I also like cooking for them and reading when I want some time just for me.

I'm way too chatty but very friendly, love to travel and enjoy the moment. You'll be pleased to know that as host I do leave my guests in peace :)

Carmelo has a 2 bedroom apartment with shared pool in Gallipoli, Italy.

Trullo Falco is owned and run by Jon Gourlay and Laura Lapadula (husband and wife team). Both from Scotland, they met when Laura was nursing and Jon was a gardener at the local hospital. They both share a love of nature, and being outdoors particularly when the sun is shining with Jessie their Border Collie. Laura’s interests include restoring old items of furniture and interior design (which is evident around the Trullo), whilst Jon is a keen gardener, falconer and owner of Sisco his Harris Hawk.
