This prestigious complex spans 4 hectares and consists of 3 properties: a restored trullo house from 1700 a romantic one bedroom house, built in a local architectural style, known as a “Lamia” and a Villa with a large garden overlooking the sweeping fields of the Sessana district. The property takes its name from the area in which it is located: Contrada Sessana, whose name, in turn, derives from the Latin “sanus”, meaning “healthy” and brings to mind the idea of a healthy life in harmony with nature. Each property has its own swimming pool set in private gardens with lush lawns, ancient olive trees and views across the surrounding countryside. The interiors have been tastefully decorated with refined yet comfortable furnishings, which perfectly complement the antique flooring, stone vaulted ceilings and stone fireplaces. The blue sky, olive trees, fragrance and colours of the natural Mediterranean vegetation provide a perfect backdrop to this enchanting place offering guests peace and serenity in close contact with the regenerative powers of the countryside. The trulli, the villa and the lamia are self contained and autonomous, and can be rented together or separately.

  I am an University teacher of Economics in Palermo, Italy. I own this villa composed of 4 different apartments (can sleep 24 people, garden 3.200 square meters), extra large pool salt water and no chlorine, that i rent weekly for holidays. It's situated in a beautiful countryside and beachside (km. 3 from the sea) area, close to amazing archaeological sites and interesting monumental towns: Segesta, Selinunte, Agrigento, Monreale, Palermo, Mozia, Marsala, Trapani... I take care of this villa and host tourists coming from all over the world, it's an exciting experience that renews day by day my life: new people, different languages, different habits, new friends...

  Me and my sister Antonietta own this spectacular villa in Villammare. Following a huge passion for hospitality, some years ago at this family jewel we decided to open the door to the international quality tourism. Since 2005 so many families from all over the world have chosen Villa Le Cannicelle as location for their family and friends holidays at the beach in Italy. Many of them are keep gathering to the villa along the years for their holiday reunions. Their children feel like home and, when summer arrives, they can't wait to jump again into our beautiful sea view swimming pool. We saw them growing up along the years and some of them can now even speak a bit of Italian. What a great joy for us!   Ciao a tutti! My name is Daniela and I am lucky to have been coming to Soriano nel Cimino and the surrounding area of Tuscia my whole life. We are an Anglo-Italian family based in Sussex, England. We have long family ties with this beautiful town through my father, where we continue to spend our holidays with family and friends. Our property Casa Renata is used as a home away from home, and so ideally fully equipped with all you could need for a long or short stay. We hope you enjoy this place as much as we do. Why holiday in Soriano at Casa Renata? The villa offers the best of both worlds; a relaxed country home yet just minutes from lively village life. The house was built in 1990, where once stood an old farmhouse. The land was bought especially due to its prime location to Soriano and its surrounding beauty. We have a number of fruit trees; olive, cherry, fig, peach, lemon, hazelnut, which our guests are more than welcome to help themselves to. We also provide our guests, with a taster of our very own extra virgin olive oil within our welcome pack, which is full of local goodies, ideal to use as a dressing. It is all about the food for us, so whether you choose to stay at home and cook for yourselves in the well equipped family kitchen and on the BBQ or eat out in Soriano’s superb restaurants, the villa is an ideal base for you. What makes our region unique? This area of Italy, known as La Tuscia, is one of the country’s hidden gems. Although Italians have been visiting this area for years, few non-Italians have discovered this diverse region of northern Lazio and its many festivals. We love to spend warm Spring and Summer days lounging by the lake, Lake Vico for a more peaceful and relaxed vibe or Lake Bolsena with its many bars, restaurants and water sports. And after all these years we still love to visit and explore this area’s array of medieval towns, I recommend the unique town of Civita di Bagnoregio as a must see. Back in Soriano you can live like a local and immerse yourself into an authentic Italian community.
