It all started in 1994 when my grandparents decided to buy the land.
They buy a plot of 2 hectares, they call old town area neighborhood 1 km near the village of Randazzo, first in 1980 the previous owners in this place cultivated a production of flowers of many species.
It is called the old city because about 2000 BC years ago the town of Randazzo arose in this area, once the Alcantara river was navigable, the Greeks, the Arabs and the various civilizations of the East landed on the coast of the Ionian Sea, from Giardini Naxos and Taormina they went up with their own boats, passing from the town of Castiglione di Sicilia to (La Rocca Dell'Alcantara Park).
Written in ancient history books they said that: The Alcantara river represented, a portal that connected the city of Taormina and that of Randazzo, two cities, two fortresses in medieval times. Some researchers argue that this territory prevails many before about 5000 BC years, a Sumerian and Egyptian land. In ancient texts it is spoken that: near
(La Rocca Dell'Alcantara Park) on the river side there was a village 4000aC years ago. Randazzo is a city of 11,700 inhabitants located on the slopes of Etna, miraculously spared from the numerous eruptions of the volcano over the centuries.
It enjoyed a period of prosperity in the Middle Ages, particularly in the 12th century, which continued until the 1500’, when the fiscal policies of the Spanish rulers, together with a devastating plague epidemic, brought the city to its knees.
Over the years my family has dedicated itself to the maintenance of the land, organizing large Sicilian parties, cooking and meetings with friends and lots of popular music.
Over the years I lose my grandparents... In 2014
Emilio Ingrassia the grandson creates a tourist place (Parco La Rocca Dell'Alcantara) I decided to transform my land, donated by my grandfather since 2014, to build a real village a place of worship, mystical being a magical place with a lot of vibrational energy,
I start my project.
I called this name (La Rocca Dell'Alcantara Park) Because the structure of the existing house is located on a volcanic rock about 3000 years old and you discover that you have called the edge of the river (Alcantara) in Latin (Assinus) in Greek (Akessines).
Over the years I have dedicated myself to the passion of hosting tourists from all over the world to enhance the history and promoter of my territory, from food to art to culture, music, history and nature.
I am a boy who in recent years I have dedicated myself to musical production, composition, art, symbolism, astrology, painting, cooking, gardening, all international cultural alternative formalities.
I follow my passions between DJ music and contact with nature, meditation and yoga.
Today after many years loved and esteemed by many people from all parts of the world, having found good and excellent reviews of my place,
Emilio Ingrassia continues a spiritual and divine interior, changes perspective to realize the project of a true international healing village in 2024.
