  We had such a lovely time on this beautiful island. But everywhere else we went we just wanted to be either at Villa Eirene or the most local beach!! Great communication with owner and easy processes. Thank you so much. Will be back!

  We absolutely loved our stay at Villa Darymine. The villa is luxurious, spacious, and equipped with everything you could possibly need. The pool and outdoor area were top-notch and truly made our holiday special. Daphne and Michael, the owners, were incredibly helpful both before and during our stay, which we greatly appreciated. We would definitely return again.

  This villa is fantastic! Lots of room, very clean, comfortable and very well equipped if you want to cook in but also 5 minutes walk from the wonderful Avri taverna. Superb views from every window and door. AC was a godsend! The pool is perfect, nice depth across the whole thing at 1.50m with a ledge around too. Communications with the owner and housekeeper were great, very quick responses and really helpful. Perfect position for the 10 minute drive into Skala. Only 12 Euros back in the taxi if you want a few cocktails! Lovely beach bar and restaurant Anemos at Kaminia beach, just below the villa. A walk down not too bad but quite a hike back up! Restaurant on the pricier side but the food, view and service was incredible. Kaminia beach itself was quite shallow so you have to walk out a way to really swim. My son saw research students helping turtles to hatch one early morning! Skala beach lovely for swimming and snorkelling. AB supermarket in Skala good for most things but go early for bread and meat. Beautiful drive through the mountains to Sami and Antisamos beach - again, go early to get a spot by one of the trees for shade if you don’t want to be in the crowded bar/sun bed area. Water sports great fun but again quite pricey. Lourdata beach lovely with a hidden gem of a bar in the village called Cafe Platanos run by a Welshman who sells 300 different types of bottled beers. The view from the loo is incredible!! Recommend Perfanis car hire. Kefalonia is a wonderful island and this villa was perfect for 9 of us. Thank you Tony and Will, the lovely ladies who came to clean and nice pool man!

  We have just come back from our family holiday and it has to be said that Villa Darymine was amazing, perfect for our family.. Daphne and Michael had went above and beyond, recommended and booked a lovely restaurant, arranged our transfer which is very helpful and took away the stress. Michael is on hand immediately if we had any issues. Villa Darymine is immaculately clean with a gorgeous outdoor space. It has everything you need from a beautiful pool, spectacular views, comfortable outdoor seating and table for eating alfresco and lovely gardens! The villa is perfectly located to the beach and a short drive to bars and restaurants. Nothing was any bother, what I found very reasurring was the contact between Daphne and I, felt like we'd known each other for years! So thank you for that. Even on our way to the airport to return home Daphne messaged me to wish us a safe journey home. Hopefully in the future we will be returning.

  What a brilliant holiday at Villa Eirene. It is located in a lovely quiet area which is easy to get to in the car. A short drive to Skala for a bit of nightlife or just relaxing by the pool it is just perfect. There is a lovely restaurant in the village but it is very popular so be sure to book! The villa is very clean and well stocked with everything you need to cook some great meals. The rooms are big and airy, there are plenty of bathrooms. The pool and sunbeds get the sun all day and have a lovely view of the sea and mountains. There is a lovely breeze from the mountains on an evening too. Tony is an excellent host and was so easy to communicate with. We have booked again for next year and cannot wait!

  We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Darymine and indeed in Kefalonia. The owners Michael and Daphne were extremely helpful both before we arrived and during our holiday, recommending and booking car hire, a private boat trip and restaurants all of which we really enjoyed. The villa itself was beautiful, clean and welcoming and with a great outside space and pool and fabulous views over the sea. We do recommend hiring a car as there is only one restaurant albeit a fantastic one on the beach within walking distance and that is a steep walk back up to the villa. But Skala and Katelios which have restaurants and bars and supermarkets are only a 5-10 minute drive away and parking in the evening is easy and free. We also explored the island and found some great deserted beaches nearby both sandy and stoney where we could chill and snorkel in the beautiful clear water in the late afternoon when it had cooled down. We all had a fantastic holiday and would definitely return to explore some more.
