3 bedroom South of France holiday home to rent
August 2019

An immaculately presented property with all the comforts of home and more besides. A tranquil location at the end of a village overlooking vineyards, though only a short stroll to a main line train station where you can be whisked into Carcassonne for the cost of one Euro! Although close to the station we never heard the trains. The village has a small cafe/restaurant/bar adjoining a small general store where fresh bread and vegetables can be purchased along with a small selection of household items. The house has generously proportioned rooms and is well suited to family holidays with its three double bedrooms with ample storage space. Although we did not meet the owner, his Sister and her husband live next door and manage the property for him. Monique and Philippe are on hand to help and assist you in getting the maximum enjoyment out of your stay but will not intrude on your privacy. The property has everything you need including all mod cons and it is well maintained, clean and loved. With regard to the location, the property is ideally situated to explore the Cathar region with Carcassonne being just a short drive away. The countryside is beautiful and it is a pleasure to drive around the area. There is so much to offer the holiday maker. History in abundance with many Chateaus, Castles, churches, beautiful countryside in which to drive, walk, or cycle. A well equipped modern house with good size garden. Slide and swings for the children and a securely locked and alarmed pool for the exclusive use of the property. We spent many afternoons and early evenings reading by the pool in the peaceful setting. A truly relaxing and enjoyable time. This really is a little gem.

3 bedroom villa to rent in the South of France
August 2019

The villa was a little difficult to find but once we were there we were all very impressed with how smart and clean it was with excellent facilities. The view over the village and surrounding area from the balcony was amazing. The owners were very welcoming and made our stay a pleasant one. The pool was well maintained and the villa was very well equipped with everything we needed. The location is quiet and peaceful with no passing traffic. There are some lovely places to eat in nearby villages but would need a car to get to them. Overall it was a restful holiday and are looking to return.

We had a lovely family holiday in this apartment. We had stayed in this area before in a smaller apartment but this suited us much better. Dealing with the agents was easy and they were very helpful! We would revisit again.

4 bedroom Nouvelle-Aquitaine holiday home rental with private pool
May 2019

Our second stay at this little piece of paradise; we stayed with non-fishers as well this time and they enjoyed walking in the area, and the piece and tranquility at the property itself. The property is ideal for people with mobility issues, as it is spacious, and has downstairs bedroom, and large wet-room style ground floor bathroom too. The property is well maintained and should you encounter any problems, Shane or Rula are round in a jiffy to help. They are soo attentive, but without being intrusive - the perfect hosts. Cant wait to go back again.

1 bedroom holiday home with private pool in Nouvelle-Aquitaine, France
May 2019

Second visit to Smallwaters and just as good as the first, the chalet has everything you need for a relaxing home away from home - including dishwasher, washing machine and bbq plus a pool! The lake - and the fishing - is first class, and if hired along with the lodge, is fantastic for an extended family break. Shane and Rula are so friendly and helpful and help with anything, fishing related or just in general ie days out, shops in the area etc. Cannot recommend highly enough.
