Family from Wendover, United Kingdom August 2018

A really stunning property in a quiet residential area. Stayed with a party of 4 adults and two children (9&7). The property provides plenty of space to enjoy time together...and time out! Very clean and comfortable with the benefit of a covered pool for those rainy days. The owners are lovely and accommodating. I found there to be no hidden costs and the price seemed reasonable in comparison to similar properties in Brittany. Personally I would prefer to be closer to the beach but the covered pool brought us further out. A 20-30 minutes drive takes you to some lovely beaches on the emerald coast. Pommeret is very quiet, a small play area 10 minutes walk away and an area a minute walk from the property with a basketball hoop and table tennis area-very popular with our children. We also enjoyed days out at Pledran woods, Jugon les Lacs and Dinan all easily accessible from Pommeret. Thoroughly recommend, thank you!!

About Brittany

Villas in Brittany

Enjoy the humble, unspoilt countryside and beloved beaches of France from one of our holiday villas in Brittany. A short hop across the channel, this beautiful region seems a world away from its neighbours. As a result of its historic ties with Great Britain, these traditions are still widely celebrated and therefore Celtic and Breton music and dance festivals are a regular occurance.

Brittany ferry ports such as St Malo and Roscoff are busy throughout the year, as are the main cities within the region Rennes and Quimper. Therefore if you're looking for some rural peace and quiet, we recommend the family-friendly resorts of Binic and Erquy.

Brittany holidays are also famous for their beaches; from the endless golden sands on the north coast to the rugged beaches of Finistére. If you're looking to get off of the beaten track, there is a plethora of thick forests to explore as well as Brittany's alluring islands, such as Île d'Ouessant and Belle Île.

Rumour has it that Brittany is also home to the world's best crêpes... when can we go...?!
