3 bedroom villa rental in the South of France with private pool
Peaceful and just what we needed. Beautiful location if you want peace, quiet and privacy. Just a couple of things - no mention that we had to look after the chickens and the owners stayed overnight on the premises on the final night. If we’d known these things we probably wouldn’t have booked it. These things need to be stated. As we didn’t have exclusivity of the property on the seventh night a refund for that night would be appreciated. Other than that we had a wonderful week away.

3 bedroom holiday villa in the South of France with shared pool
Very enjoyable stay; house well appointed with everything you need. Safe environment with a good pool! Value for money is 4* because of standard €80 cleaning fee; no discount because we only used the downstairs, which is a little harsh. If this fee was hidden in the initial headline price, we would not have felt this way particularly as there are clear instructions to leave the house as you find it!

We had a wonderful stay at this property. It was very clean and extremely well equipped. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Perfect for our family of 4 and a great base to explore the surrounding area.

The house is even better than it looks in the photos. Stunning, peaceful location. Very rural but close enough to Bergerac which is a beautiful town. Guy the owner was helpful and available if required but otherwise we didn’t see him. I would recommend bringing some basic supplies if possible as the shops were closed when we arrived after a long day of travelling and we had to venture a bit further afield to find a shop.

The villa was a little difficult to find but once we were there we were all very impressed with how smart and clean it was with excellent facilities. The view over the village and surrounding area from the balcony was amazing. The owners were very welcoming and made our stay a pleasant one. The pool was well maintained and the villa was very well equipped with everything we needed. The location is quiet and peaceful with no passing traffic. There are some lovely places to eat in nearby villages but would need a car to get to them. Overall it was a restful holiday and are looking to return.

Quiet stay in a small village well maintained with beautiful new or restored houses. The cottage is spacious, bright, comfortable and pleasantly furnished with a wood stove that creates a warm evening in the evening. All this in a region steeped in history. canal gourmet cuisine, good wines ... life is beautiful!
