We are arriving on 1st May but the Interhome office is not open and the hours do not explain to us. We did not receive the manual or code for the internet connection. Just the owners of XXX and XXX house give us the code. They are very nice and the house very charming and our stay very pleasant.

Have spent here together with friends (4 adults / 4 kids) a week and it was fantastic. The house is secluded, but that's what makes it so special: lots of greenery and tranquility. The decor is lovely and functional. Had luck with the weather (April) and could more often in the large garden breakfasts and barbecues. Excursions to the coast can be tackled from a distance, but the nearby, regional farms are well worth a visit.

Everything is organized in a masterful way. Reception in the agency, the products of first necessity, the taking and delivery of the keys. The cleanliness of the place is irreproachable. The decor super nice. The ideal distribution of parts. The geographical location of dream.

Normandy holiday villas

Our private holiday villas in Normandy boast swimming pools, beach locations and stunning landscape views. This region of France is perfect for your next holiday if your'e looking for a destination steeped in history, natural beauty and close to the UK.

Normandy is best known for its chalky white cliffs, a coastline stuffed with World War II beachheads and beautiful stretches of golden sand such as Omaha beach. Further inland, the rolling green countryside boasts half-timbered houses and beautiful meadows. Our luxury farmhouses in Normandy are the perfect base to enjoy some peace and relaxation.

Alternatively, you can discover some of the rich history of this area of France, from the Norman invasion of England in 1066 to the D-Day landings of 1944. One of the most famous landmarks in Normandy is Mont-St-Michel, a spectacular 12th century monastry and Christian Pilgrimage site, situated on an island. The infamous Bayeux Tapestry also finds its home here.

Tansy and Mike own the perfect holiday property for those who enjoy a bit of historical education with their great escape. We caught up with Tansy to hear about their four properties - one special one in particular, The Band of Brothers House, which is a new listing for Clickstay. The house is steeped in D-Day history and was named in honour of the 101st Airbourne Division that liberated the village of Sainte-Marie-du-Mont, Normandy. They are very proud of their newly renovated 300 - 400 year old house, and so they should be - it is charming, beautiful, and a credit to all their hard work.
