  This was our second year in a row, staying in this villa location to shops restaurants bars, and beaches is extraordinary. Definitely no need to hire a car if you don’t want and we will be back another time.

  Crystal Lagoon is in a perfect location. Only a short walk to the nearest shops, bars and amazing restaurants. It has easy access to the beach from right outside the villa then a half an hour walk across the board walk into Protaras. We had a lovely holiday here. Great communication with the hosts. We had a minor problem when we arrived with one of the windows, Shaun was there within half an hour to get it sorted for us. The villa is spacious and the pool too! (We have rented other villas and the pools have been a lot smaller.) The villa has plenty of storage space (which we loved) and plenty of coat hangers too! It has what you need for a holiday here, with a well equipped kitchen and a bonus of a coffee machine. We would book this villa again as it has been easy from start to finish. I was very sceptical about booking with a different company than we usually do but we wouldn't hesitate to book this Villa or another one with Shaun & Becky in the future.

  I can’t recommend this villa as lovely as it is until you address the pool situation. There is NO handrail to get in and out of the pool the steps are slippery. It’s an accident waiting to happen extremely dangerous for children and we resorted to pulling up a sun bed to grab on to. Beautiful villa otherwise.

  Lovely villa, just as described and as shown in the photos. Perfect location for beach and restaurants. Good/easy communication with host and easy check in/check out. Lovely pool area and outside space. Only minor suggestion would be different sun beds as the black metal frames get extremely hot (ie too hot to touch!) in the sun.

  We had a wonderful stay at Crystal Lagoon 38 and can't recommend it highly enough. We visited Pernera in June for a family wedding at a nearby hotel and having never been to Cyprus before it was great to be provided with a comprehensive welcome pack with local information and wider places of interest to visit. The villa was very well presented and had all the facilities to make it a great holiday base. The decoration, fixtures and fittings are all very modern and the house was clean and tidy on arrival. Also, as we were arriving quite late on a weekend we ordered the welcome pack on arrival (tea, coffee, milk, water etc) which is recommended. However, local supermarkets are only a 5 minute walk away and while not as cheap as the huge stores, they provide everything you need - the fresh bread every morning was worth the walk. The pool is cleaned every couple of days and definitely speak to the guy who comes to do it if you want further recommendations on where to visit if you have a car. Shaun and Becky are excellent agents and as well as providing the welcome pack and information above, were on hand to deal with any issues. We only had one reason to contact them; the cistern in the downstairs toilet was leaking on arrival, but Shaun and Becky had a plumber out the next day to replace. Other than that everything else was perfect. We stayed locally for most of the time due to the wedding so used the local beaches a lot. We found Louma beach (10 min walk) really handy and had local boat trips (1/2 day trip highly recommended) and water sports all close by. Also it's quite a protected beach and when there were red flags locally on a few days this bay wasn't affected as badly. If you have a car, Ayia Thekla beach near Ayia Napa is definitely worth a visit. The restaurants in Pernera are great value and there's a wide choice to not have to rely on the same meal every night. Protaras is a 25-30 minute walk along the boardwalk and has a lot more to offer and you don't mind the crowds. All in all we had a wonderful holiday and would definitely stay at this villa again if we find ourselves visiting this area in the future.

  We enjoyed our two-week stay at this villa.  It is within a short walk to the main road running through Pernera, giving you access to many restaurants and bars.  The villa is conveniently located next to a lane where you can walk to the boardwalk/beaches. The villa itself, whilst not spotless, was adequately clean.  We did not use the pool as it receives very little direct sun during the day, so was quite chilly end of September/early October.  Not a big deal as the beach is so close.  Kitchen was well-stocked and had everything we needed.  Beds were comfortable and the air conditioning was very effective.  Some of the blinds are broken and need repair/replacement.  There is a blind and curtain in the main bedroom, blinds in the other two.  I’d recommend adding curtains to these two bedrooms due to the bright (and early) sunrise.  All in all, we had a great visit and would definitely stay here again.
