  We had a wonderful stay at the property. Communication with Carla was excellent. To get to the property, you do need a car but there is plenty of parking on site. It is a safe site and so perfect for families. It is set away from touristy areas which was great for us. However, if you want to get to the beach or a city, you will have a 45 minute drive. The pool is lovely and there is plenty of outdoor seating available.

  Very nice property, home from home feel. Lovely views from the veranda whilst sat eating breakfast. Would highly recommend this property for a chilled relaxing holiday especially with the good sized pool. Tracey the key holder was amazing such a warm happy, smiling welcome. Very helpful and made our stay even better. ☀️😊

  We really had wonderful holidays in your spanish home. Really great, the pool was of course the highlight for the kids. The kids said they would like to come back in two years (they first want to go again in the German mountains), and we the "older ones" said , even if they do not want to come back, WE want to, even if it is some years later and we are only a couple :-) It so nice to be at the countryside, to relax and to be near the city, the beaches. The neighbours were really kind, and we talked a little bit by waiting for the "pan-woman" (my spanish is not really good but for a small talk it was enough) Many thanks to Lorraine and to you for making our stay such a nice experience.

  The villa was lovely and spacious. The garden and large pool really made our holiday. It was difficult to drag ourselves out, but we did venture into Valencia for the day to the Oceanogrphic experience. This was well worth visiting and we did a bit of shopping in the large centre there. This is not the usual touristy destination, but there is lots to see and do. It would be helpful to speak a little Spanish, but we muddled through on the friendliness and goodwill of the locals (and with a little help from a translation app). Great holiday, would definitely return.

  We were very pleased with the house. It is quite new, spacious, has 3 large bedrooms (one with bathroom) and a general bathroom upstairs and a smaller bedroom at the ground level. The large L shaped living room could sit all of us (6) comfortably, with enough space for more people. We did like the large table in the well equipped kitchen where we (given the nice weather most of the time) only ate a few times. The large, partly covered balcony has two large tables, plenty of chairs and a fixed barbecue. In the morning we ate breakfast in the sun and during the day (when it got hot) could sit in the shade. The pool is OK and clean, with enough comfortable sunbathing chairs. Besides the parasol there is a large tree adjacent to the pool as well, so I could sit in the shade, when needed The house overlooks a valley and sitting on the large balcony during sunset is a pleasure. The area the house is located in is rather dull, only urban, nothing special to go/walk to during the evening. The closest village at approx 5 km is not very exiting either, but has a good supermarket for the daily shopping. So we went to Valencia a lot, which is just an easy 30 min drive away. Lorraine, the housekeeper is very friendly and helpful. She even mailed us stuff we did forgot. Overall : we loved the place, regretted our departure and would recommend you to stay there.

Review Submitted: January 11, 2012 Date of Stay: October 2011 Our party had a super time and wished we could have stayed longer. The house is lovely and exceeded all our expectations, just what we needed! Everything was spick and span and very clean. The house is well equipped and well laid out. It was great to have the welcome pack which was indeed very welcome. Lorraine made us feel very much at home. She gave us lots of good advice and tips which helped us make the most of our stay. The children especially, made great use of the pool. Everyone enjoyed spending time on the terrace for meals and just relaxing, enjoying the lovely view of the hills. We found it very convenient to shop in the nearby town of Turis - not at all touristy and had all we needed for supplies. The co-operative store was a great place to buy local wine (by the bottle or on draught). Valencia is well worth a visit or two, especially the old part and the Botanical Gardens. I loved the old round domed indoor market. The owner was very prompt answering any questions we had regarding the house and Lorraine (house manager) is a great asset as she was available by phone should we have needed. We had a great holiday and i would recommend it highly.
