Reviews of our villas in Sitges
We have 4 reviews of our villas in Sitges.
The property itself is old and large. It was very clean and suited us, we were very please. Positives. Three large airconditioned bedrooms. The villa is a 10 minute walk to the beach and restaurants, may 15 minute walk to the centre and only 5 minutes to the supermarket. I had a car but it was easier to walk in to town than drive and park. You could happily holiday here without a car. Ground/First floor has a sun room (pictured), Kitchen and lounge is on 2nd floor and the three bedrooms 3rd floor. Quite a lot of stairs, this was not a problem for us. The swimming pool is big enough and well maintained, it is not fenced off, again not an issue for us. The fourth bedroom is off the lounge, is glass on two walls with no aircon. This is an excellent property for couples and families with children who can swim and climb stairs.Read more
The house was very nice and nicely decorated. Unfortunately, however, the bed in the master bedroom was very small (if someone is sth.) And in all beds inferior mattresses.Read more
Villas in sunny Sitges
Known as 'the jewel of the Mediterranean', 'the St. Tropez of Spain' and even 'miniature Ibiza', the lively coastal town of Sitges lies 43km southwest of Barcelona, in the region of Catalonia. This once humble fishing village, now an upscale resort boasting over 300 days of sunshine, is the perfect base to explore an authentic side of Spain, unspoiled by tourism. Explore its charming ancient old town, museums and many landmarks, as well as a beautiful palm-lined promenade overlooking a golden coastline kissed by the sparkling blue waters of the Atlantic.
Families will enjoy Sitges for its slower paced side of life and distinct Mediterranean charm. Couples will enjoy it for the scenic strolls, and sun-worshippers will love its seventeen pristine beaches, from naturalist beaches to beaches that boast an array of water sports. This colourful city's heart beats with a bohemian spirit, once home to the likes of Picasso and the modernist painter Joan Miró; art galleries can be found all over Sitges, showcasing the work of locals.
Stroll down the narrow, winding streets of the old quarter and find historical gems like the 17th-century church Sant Bartomeu i Tecla. Sample the local cava with a special wine tour around Catalonia’s famous Penedès vineyards. See the streets come to life with festivals and events like the International Film Festival and annual car rally. Marvel at the natural wonders of Garraf National Park. There is so much to diverse Sitges that you'll never be bored.
