El Espanglo is a lovely 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom detached villa with 120m2 of living space on a large 1300m2 plot, and sleeps 6 people. The property has an impressive 60m2 open plan lounge with L-shaped settee, coffee table, dining area with dresser, table and 6 chairs, a modern fully equipped kitchen with a 3m long breakfast bar and bar stools. There is a pay-as-you-go metered air-con system in the lounge which cools the villa throughout.
The main bathroom contains a stylish vanity unit, wall mounted wc and a walk-in power shower. The main bedroom has a Kingsize leather bed, ceiling fan, bedside drawers, table lamps and built-in sliding wardrobes, the second bedroom has 2 single beds, ceiling fan, bedside drawers and a built-in wardrobe and the third bedroom has 2 single beds. a floor fan, bedside drawers, wardrobe and en-suite bathroom. All windows in the property are double-glazed with fly-screens and shutter blinds.
For your entertainment the villa is kitted out with UK sat tv, dvd player, free WIFI internet, bar football table plus a selection of films, radio/cd stereo system, and some children's games. The large sliding patio doors in the lounge lead out to the spacious south facing landscaped garden area that includes an 8m x 4m private pool, outdoor shower, terrace with sunloungers, hammocks, garden furniture, bbq, table-tennis, fruit trees, palm trees, views to the sea and garage parking for 2 cars. There are various inflatables and body boards available for the kids to enjoy in the pool.
For familes with babies a free travel cot is provided and any other baby equipment can be hired if requested.
The villa offers you privacy and tranquility in an idyllic setting just 500m from the beach, bars and restaurants. Everything you need for a relaxing holiday!!

The resort of Mil Palmeras is situated on the southern tip of the Costa Blanca, just off the AP7 motorway and has one of the warmest climates in Spain enjoying around 300 days of sunshine every year.
It's very popular with spanish holidaymakers but remains a bit of a hidden gem to other nationalities looking for somewhere different and not too commercialised.
Mil Palmeras has one of the best beaches in the region, an array of bars, cafes and restaurants on the main strip offering a good variety of international cuisine plus a new eat as much as you like Wok Buffet which is proving very popular. There is a weekly market every sunday which is ideal for cheap, fresh local produce and a nightly artesan market on the promenade during the summer.
For families there are many local attractions and activities including natural mud-baths, boat trips, a waterpark, fairground, outdoor cinema, bowling alley, paintballing, quad-biking, horse-riding, go-karting, crazy golf, tennis, scuba diving, wind-surfing and jet-skiing. For golfers you are ideally situated to as many as 12 local golf courses.
Mil Palmeras is just 15 minutes drive from Murcia airport, 45 minutes from Alicante Airport and 5 minutes to the impressive new Zenia Boulevard Shopping Centre which has over 150 stores including Primark. A car is not essential though as all amenities like the beach, bars, restaurants, supermarket, chemist, medical centre, bank, football pitches, tennis courts and bus-stop are within 10 minutes walk of the villa. Cheap airport transfers, shopping trips, golf trips and excursions can be arranged if required.

We had a wonderful time in spite of the dreadful weather. The property is stunning and massive. Amazing pool, fantastic views from the terrace and lounge area. Darryl was the perfect host and every detail was attended to, with DVDs, games and cards, and a table football to entertain, in case of inclement weather, which sadly we had a lot of. Would definitely go back.

My girlfriend and I visited with our 7 month old baby in September 2014 and found it to be exactly as described. It was perfect for us for a quiet family holiday. The facilities are excellent UK TV, Air-con (small additional charge), well equipped kitchen, comfy lounge and a fantastic pool. Its located within walking distance of the beach, bars/restaurants and a large supermarket so no need for a car. Communication with the owner was excellent - he picked us up from the airport and messaged midweek to check all was OK - and its good to know he was readily available if there had been any issues. Highly recommended and will be returning.

Aug 2014 Two Families, totaling six people stayed for 11 nights. We all had a great time. The villa is in a quite location but in easy reach of the main supermarket (bottom of the road down a hill slight incline). The beach is 5 Min walk just over the road from the supermarket. The beach is beautiful. The area is not too commercialized and remains quintessentially Spanish with a scattering of reasonably priced restaurants. The beach does get quite busy in August due to many of the Spanish using this area as their holiday destination. (If going to the beach it is worth purchasing a fold up chair - all the locals take them and its worthwhile) the Sea is warm and shallow great for the kids to play in. The Villa itself is not done justice by the outside photos. The outdoor area is vast, ideal for BBQs and lazy days in the sun. The Sun hits all day with the umbrellas and sail providing shade. The location gets a slight sea breeze which make its nice. The pool is a good size plenty of room for the children to play happily all day and is cleaned twice a week. The inside is very well presented, kitchen is beautiful and new with dining table, sitting areas TV/DVD Wifi etc. The bedrooms are quite large and all have wardrobes. All windows have metal shutters for security. Golf courses, lots and at least 5 within 15 mins drive all very good. Only issue we had was the Air-con unit was leaking the first day so didnt work correctly, we let Daryl know in the evening and a man turned up the next day and fixed it. If you are looking a nice relaxed place for a family holiday (with a little golf) this place is perfect. Mr Hall (Derby - UK)

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this villa. The outside pool area was perfect for BBQs and lounging by the pool. Within a five minute walk you can reach a mini supermarket, the beach, bars and restaurants meaning meaning there is no need to hire a car if you dont want to. the only downside to the property s that there is only one bathroom and as there was 6 girls staying here during our trip we could have done with one more. I would highly recommend the villa as it is great value for money, in a convenient location, is spotlessly clean and has an amazing outside pool area.

We cant thank Darryl enough for our fantastic stay. We were unable to travel on Xmas Eve due to flight delays and Darryl kindly allowed us to move our booking by a few days. His communication was fantastic and even allowed me to text him on Xmas day. He also came during the week to give us a lift to La Zenia Boulevard. The villa is perfect for families and our boys spent most of their time on the table tennis table or playing table football. The location is perfect with a five minute walk to the supermarket, restaurants and the beach. We highly recommend the Wok House which is so much more than just a wok bar. Thank you again Darryl.

Comfortable villa with all necessary facilities. Very easy walk to supermarket, bars and restaurants. Also easy walk to a very fine beach. Villa renters need to be clearer in their advert, that there is a surcharge for cleaning of 60 euros to be given on arrival. This just needs to be highlighted in the same way all other costs are.

We had a great stay at this property and the owners went out of their way to accommodate our requests. It is very tastefully decorated, well situated and there is enough to do at they property on those bad weather days or if you simply want to stay in. Would have given it 5 stars if it had a second bathroom. Very recommended!

Stayed for a week in October and found this Villa to have good facilities as well as being near enough to the beach to walk down for the afternoon. The real plus was the pool, with the kids in every day & me most days. Inbetween dips table football and badminton were the other games of choice from what was provided. We were met by the owner on arrival for a friendly welcome and key handover and tips for the local area. This was our first Spanish villa so not able to make any direct comparisons, but we found it well appointed and comfortable with a modern kitchen/breakfast bar for family food & a well fitted bathroom. There is a good size patio at the back and you get a good sense of inside and outside from the photos on the website The wifi worked well. At this time of year the town was quiet but there were still plenty of restaurants open for dining out & there is a handy supermarket just down the road. Overall a very enjoyable stay and we would certainly recommend to others.

The house is in an ideal location very close to the Ap-7 and the N332 but still very much in a rural location. The village of Mil Palmeras is still typically Spanish and is popular as a Spanish Holiday destination. The beach and restauraunts are about 5 - 10 minutes walk which is definately not 400m away (maybe nearer 1km) but its a pleasant walk at night after sun down. (Hiring a car is not really essential as everything you need is within walking distance) The owner (an Englishman) is very helpful and friendly. The house is clean and functional and the pool area and garden are private, deceptively spacious and very pleasant to either sit in the shade or top up your tan. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this property
The villa is gorgeous with a great outdoor area, perfect for bbqs, entertaining and for our little girl to run around. Location is ideal, about a 10 minute walk from the beach, restaurants and shops. Would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday in a non-touristy location.
