About
Hi, I am Darryl the property manager for Villa El Espanglo and have rented it successfully with my wife Marina for over 12 years with several returning guests during that time and plenty of positive feedback!
During and after Covid we took a break from holiday rentals made improvements to the property, the latest being a large pool house with bathroom, bar and chill out area.
Mil Palmeras is a lovely resort and there are very few rental villas with private pools available in such a great location close to the beach.
If you prefer more of a hiking holiday I now have a lovely villa Casa Tordera (ref: 441737) available in the market town of Tordera between Barcelona and Girona and near the Costa Brava resorts of Blanes and Lloret de Mar.
If you are on a budget and looking for something smaller to rent in Mil Palmeras I also manage bookings for Casa Carmen (ref: 360244) which is a 2 bedroom Vikingo bungalow by the Olympia pool bar and restaurant and 8 mins walk to the beach so look forward to hosting you at either property this year!

We had a very comfortable stay at Dario's place, as it contained everything that we needed, right from cooking meals to sleeping arrangements. Right from the start, he was always very quick to respond and had some great recommendations about the area. The check in and check out process was really smooth. I would definitely recommend his place to anyone looking to stay in the area, as on top of every thing else, it is just a five minute walk to the beach.

We had a wonderful time at Villa El Espanglo. There was 6 of us and we had an amazing time. Plenty of room, big pool, amazing outdoor area and a wonderful location. It was out first time in Mil Palmeras, we normally stay at La Zenia or Cabo Roig and we were nervous but we really shouldn't have been. We are converts! Darryl was really helpful suggesting activities...places to visit...local markets and was really supportive about everything. Thanks for everything Darryl, we definitely hope to come back.

Lovely villa in a great location. The outdoor space has to be seen to be believed. Communication with Darryl was very good throughout. The whole area around is well worth exploring if you have a car with some lovely beaches and plenty of places to walk. If you like a good market then Torrevieja on a Friday is a must with lots of stalls and bargains to be had.
All in all a fantastic villa in a beautiful area.

4 friends staying, fantastic location and beach, value for money, close to all amenities and easy walk to beach.
Lots of outside space around pool and on different levels, we enjoyed eating of an evening on the top level veranda with lovely views, also closer to the kitchen.
Only down side was the pool was a bit chilly ( I don’t think it was heated) but apart from that a great stay.

The outside space is great even better than the pictures. The villa is in easy walking distance of a number of restaurants, the beach and a good reasonably priced supermarket. No need for a car unless you want to use it for airport transfers and trips out. Darryl, the owner, was really helpful in arranging taxi transfer from the airport for my daughter and with restaurant recommendations. Overall a very relaxed stay as the villa had all we wanted and was so conveniently located. If you go to Zenia Boulevard shopping centre it has a great selection of places to eat. Aquopolis water park wasn't great. If you are going get there early and budget for extras - charges for sunbeds and parking.

We had a fantastic stay at Villa El Esplango. The villa is perfect inside and out. The pool is perfect for a swim and for a family wanting to splash about together. The pool house was a great outdoor space to relax in out of the sun during the day.
The location is great. Easy walk to the beach and local restaurants all within 10mins.
Communication with Darryl was excellent and the tip to get shopping delivered saved us walking back from the local supermarket with lots of water, wine and beer!

Nice house with a large garden, private swimming pool, and a perfect poolhouse.
Quiet area, and the house had realy good space for our family of five.
Short distance to local shop with bakery, butcher and groceries.
Close to beach, and many restaurants.
The local padle club was realy nice, and was open from 08 - 23
Easy to communicate with owner.
We realy want to come back.
