  The area is quite busy but the house is in a good location away from the most densely populated area of the resort. There are 3 restaurants within very easy walking distance and supermarkets nearby. The English mini-market just on the Coin road is open on Sundays and probably the closest. There is a very good green grocery at hoyo 19 garden centre. The veg is fresh, some of it organic and prices are good. There are 20 stairs from the nearest parking access down to the house. Not a problem for most people and there are alternative routes, but worth considering if anyone has limited mobility. Our only frustration was with the oven which kept tripping out. The function symbols have worn off so using the oven was guess work. A simple diagram or some basic instructions would no doubt remedy this. We were here in December so can’t say what it would be like in high season but we enjoyed our stay.

  Well appointed property , comfortable, spacious and quiet. Nice friendly neighbours. Lovely south facing balcony overlooking golf course. Very helpful key holder. Good location for us between sea and mountains.

  Fabulous time as usual at this villa,3rd year running and hopefully next year as well Garden was a bit overgrown restricting the magnificent views of the area ,but i sharp sorted it out to basically what it looks like in the photo Garden still needs a little TLC and a tidy up which would not take long One of the sun loungers has a really bad sag in the middle and you can feel the metal bar through it Main bedroom mattress was extremely hard and probably could do with replacing Other than that it is a lovely villa and would highly recommend it to anyone,first class!!

  This is a very nice and well maintained property, clearly well loved and used by the owners, as the furnishings and equipment provided are all of a good standard. we cooked a few meals, and there was plenty of pots, pans and utensils. The outside patio to the rear was nice, overlooking the pool, (which we didn't use), and Mijas Golf course. Plenty of room for dining al fresco, and lounging on the sun beds provided. You will definitely need a car, as whilst there is a nice bar/restaurant 100 yds down the road, everything else really needs you to travel by vehicle. the local "corner shop" was closed whilst we were there. Many good supermarkets and a large shopping centre within easy reach. The only thing that was a small negative is that there are roads nearby that have quite a lot of commercial traffic, so not quite as idyllic as the marketing details/photo show. All in all a good stay, and would happily recommend to others.

  This is our second visit to the property. As previous, the assistance from Lesley to sort very efficiently a couple of small problems, was excellent. We shall be rebooking again.

  Having owned a property on Valle Verde between 1983 and 1999 we were interested to see the changes to the area and if Valle Verde was as good as it was 18 years ago. The property itself has been seriously updated over the years and we found it was exactly as described on the clickstay site. Spotlessly clean throughout - good wi-fi, plenty of TV channels (we didn't need them), comfortable lounge and beds and just outstanding views from the large terrace overlooking Mijas golf with the mountain range as the backdrop. The Valle Verde development (just 36 properties ) has also been very well maintained - flora and fauna perfect. Good service from Keith and Lesley who live nearby on Phase 2. There were taxis available just down the road every night to get into Fuengirola and Los Boliches (9 euros) if you didn't want to take the car down there - it's quite busy and parking is a drag. The restaurant El Golf (200 yards) has been closed for some time but is due to open again very shortly. In addition there are a couple of ventas a 5/10 minute easy walk away. We plan to return and highly recommend it to anyone wanting quality accommodation in such a peaceful spot.
