The apartment is functional and cozy with second room and sink. Nice pool and well maintained garden. The location of the house, within the residence, with sea views and sun from 10 am on the balcony until 2 pm is fine in the autumn. Blanes has a beautiful beach and you can make several nice trips eg along the coast (cami ronda) and the botanical garden. A boat trip to Tossa de Mar is also recommended. A small flaw is that the toilet is not separate from the bathroom.

superb location, great view! very nice apartment! only downside: the keyholder is very nice but does not speak a word of french !! impossible to connect to the wifi which was free !! he told us at the end of the stay that there was an error in the number of identifier !!! a pity for us !! when you come back in this apartment, check ALL the strores !! half does not work anymore (very embarrassing for the child's room, which finds it full light at 6 am !!! obliged to stuck a plaid in the window (this store is broken since tés longtemp saw the state of the box !! the oven does not work at all and has never walked i think !! (Not easy when we are a family, to cook or reheat only a pizza !!) a big electric plate does not work either !! it reddened then stops heating !! pricisions serve to future tenants wishing that repairs are made !! because otherwise it is an apartment beautiful :: clean, very functional, spacious, and very well located !! the pool and its surroundings are superb too !! my grandchildren loved even my 16 month old daughter !!! I woke up to rent this apartment once the repairs completed !!!!

Apartments in Blanes

Situated in the province of Girona, Blanes is a resort town of true Catalonian beauty. Known as the gateway to the Costa Brava, this unspoiled side of Spain boasts beautiful botanical gardens, stretches of golden sand and an old quarter with authentic tapas restaurants and atmospheric winding streets. A favourite with Catalans, its pristine beaches and coves, relaxed way of life and picturesque landscape that stretches all the way to the French border makes it the perfect destination for a family holiday. As the first town along the Costa Brava, Blanes has charm and character in abundance, from its whitewashed houses to the traditional fishing boats along the harbour.

Stroll along Passeig de Carles Faust and discover the exotic gardens of Marimurtra, attracting over 300,000 visitors each year who come to see the beautiful display of over 4000 species of plant life. Take a trip to the old town with its Gothic architecture and working fishing port. In the evening, sample the catch of the day with a traditional alfresco dinner. Kids will love Blanes for its family-friendly beaches, festivals, water parks and the fabulous world of Gnomo Park in Lloret de Mar, just a 7-minute drive from Blanes. For a change of scenery Barcelona is only an hour away by car, with a scenic drive along the coast, or why not make the most of the sparkling Mediterranean with a scuba diving and snorkeling boat excursion for all the family.

Blanes' coastline with its mountain backdrop, is its main attraction, varying from quiet coves to large stretches of sand perfect for enjoying water sports. Drive towards Lloret de Mar, just before Blanes' exit sign and follow the sign 'Urbanització Cala Sant Francesc' f Sant Francesc, until you reach Sant Francesc with its gentler sloping sands and snack bars. After a dip in the sea, explore San Juan Castle and watchtower at the top of the hill, once used for pirate sightings. From here, take in glorious views across Blanes and the Mediterranean Sea. Blanes' promenade, Passeig de Cortils i Vieta, stretches along each beach, with cycle lanes, plenty of restaurants, shops and bars; there's even a scattering of rides to keep the kids entertained. The surrounding natural landscape is an outdoor playground, perfect for golf, horse riding and scenic bike rides.
