Well what to say other than an amazing week in Benitachell. We arrived very late but upon arrival we were instantly impressed with the location and the villa. The villa was beautifully presented and clean. When we woke up in the morning we looked out over the most fantastic views, the children and my husband went straight into the pool and although it was slightly chilly (End of October) it was beautifully clean. We had the most fantastic week in the villa and exploring the surrounding areas. We went to the steak house and the Chinese at the bottom of the hill which were both fantastic meals and service and we would highly recommend. We also went over the mountain behind the villa and went horse riding to the beach. Our favourite beach was Cala Moraig which was small but perfect for a sunny day at the beach. We would highly recommend this villa and the host Ash who was really helpful very accommodating. We will definitely book again in the future.Read more
At the price we were charged for this holiday, we weren’t expecting perfection, but we got it! The villa is beautiful, as is the outside area and pool, and the views are stunning! The owner has paid attention to detail inside and out, which led to an amazing “home from home” stay. You will definitely need to hire a car (we did), as, unless you are extremely fit (we aren’t!), the area is very hilly, and there’s not a lot of night life (although the Bull and Bear pub down the road are extremely friendly and put on nightly activities). We took a day trip to Benidorm, which is only a 30 minute drive away. All in all, it was a 10/10 holiday - even my teenage kids loved it!!Read more
We had a wonderful stay at this villa. Andy very kindly met us and took us to the property upon our arrival, despite it being very late. The villa was very clean and equipped with everything we needed. Although the pool was at the front of the property, it was very private. Thank you. We hope to return very soon!!Read more
Andy very welcoming , villa spotlessly clean. Could do with awning over chairs at villa entrance as no shade at all during day. Car essential as no amenities in walking distance, very steep hills.Read more
Two weeks of bliss in a really nice Villa overlooking the valley from old Benitachell across to Javea. We will never forget the wonderful view. A light breeze on the Nyah a welcome place to eat before returning to the sun trap pool, cleaned every week so the water is glorious. The rooms are well fitted with hanging space to two and chests of drawers to two Hot water readily available, a well-supplied kitchen and bookshelf, plus a stack of dvds for all tastes. No television channels, sadly Any slight issues were dealt with extremely quickly by John, the owner, and neighbour Hennie ever-happy to be of assistance Mas y Mas supermarket a five-minute drive away (you DO need a car) for your everyday needs and Javea and Moraira less than ten minutes away. There must be a downside? Well, only a slight one or two! Two VERY yappy dogs in the villa lower adjacent. Can be annoying if you let it get to you. And the steps/stairs can be a challenge if you have mobility issues Overall, a 99% perfect holiday Villa. Well worth the spend which gave us a truly memorable holidayRead more
Absolutely fantastic, we were there for our honeymoon. The house was better than advertised, we felt so spoilt. The owner goes a extra mile to ensure your stay is the best. A hints and tips book is a valuable asset. So you gain the best out of your stay. The couple who manage the property are very friendly and tho left to our own devices they were on hand if we needed them, which we didnt. Everything ran smoothly. It's perfect for peace and to recharge yourself. Up in the mountains away from loads of people, but within 10 mins of tourist towns. Everyone we met was friendly and tho we spoke no Spanish we were able to be understood. It took us a couple of days to be confident driving a Spanish car on Spanish roads. And the drive from the airport is very straight forward. The only problem as such is the drive up into the mountain, that I feel tho is more to do with my partners map reading skills! Lol the roads to and from the main road are very steep, but you are up a mountain and have some very tight bends! It does make driving a manual car interesting ! But again thats more my driving skills. Than an minus on the property. We definitely will be staying there again in the future. In fact I am looking to bring my grown up daughter and her boyfriend next year, if it's availbable.Read more

Villa rentals in Benitachell
Benitachell, or Benitaxell as it's also known, is a small Spanish village and district on the Costa Blanca's north, situated in Alicante Province and located just off the A-7 Motorway. It lies in-between Denia and Calpe, but many tourists pass through the resort on their way to Javea and Moraira on the coast. This postcard region is known for the Coves of Los Tiestos and El Llebeig in the area of Cumbre del Sol, where people come to enjoy the unspoiled beaches sheltered by an impressive cliff landscape. The stunning natural beauty of Montgo Natural Park is just over a 20 minute drive from Benitachell, standing 753m above sea level and the area is tucked away from the main buzz of the Costa Blanca, making Benitachell an ideal destination for families looking for a relaxing villa holiday near the beach.
Benitachell's natural beaches and coves are its main attraction, known for being excellent diving and snorkeling spots. The surrounding landscape calls for adventure and climbers will be in their element in Cala del Moraig, where the rocks, piercing blue waters and sea breeze will make you feel one with nature. Experience the full beauty of the coast with a boat trip and on a clear day you might even be able to see the Balearic island of Ibiza. In the evenings head to the main square for a traditional Spanish meal in authentic surroundings, where you'll also find a cluster of supermarkets, atmospheric cafes and shops, as well as Santa Maria Magdalena Church in the heart of the plaza.
