4 bedroom villa rental in Begur, Costa Brava, with private pool

Amazing family home on the top of the hills of Begur. Very complete home with fully equipped kitchen including basic cooking ingredients as herbs and olive oil, a dedicated washing area with washing machine ánd dryer. Home is in a very quiet area and very well secured with electric blinders and gated garden. Check-in with Interhome was quick and efficient. If any drawback, I would say the check-out time could be later (12.00 instead of 10.00) to allow for a more comfortable checkout. Other than that, would recommend without any doubt!

Superb house very well equipped with a special effort on the deco and the quality of the furniture. Kitchen particularly well supplied, including crockery for children. Swimming pool very good for swimming and splashing. Sea and mountain views. Very calm. To know: car needed as often in Begur. 2 adult rooms and 2 children's rooms. A small point of improvement: add a few sun loungers for the outdoors. Wifi a little bit down. In the end, we are delighted.

Unspoiled Begur lies on the Costa Brava in northeastern Spain, 50km from Girona city and an hour and a half north of Barcelona. With a population of approximately 4,000 inhabitants, this Mediterranean gem offers a stylish escape away from the commercial holiday towns like neighbouring Tossa de Mar and Roses. Discover a wine making region with an abundance of upscale seafood restaurants, architectural marvels and incredible piercing blue water beaches and coves sheltered by a cliff landscape. The nearest airport is Girona-Costa Brava, just under an hour away by car, where the road to Girona winds along the olive groves, medieval towns, pine trees and wild flora and fauna.

The town's contrasting architecture adds to its charm, with a mix of colonial Cuban-style houses, medieval village remnants and typical Catalan coastal homes, ranging from neoclassical mansions to fisherman's huts. Nicknamed 'Red Island', 150m-long Platja Fonda is a favourite with couples and naturalists, with rocky, pine-tree lined surrounds perfect for diving. Family-friendly Platja del Raco, linked to the coastal path by the coves of Illa Roja and Sa Riera has a beach bar, showers, leisure facilities and lifeguards. Blue Flag Aigua Blava Beach is a paradise of natural beauty with water so clear you can see to the bottom.
