Villa Xaghra, a beautifully restored traditional farmhouse, blends elegant modern touches with authentic charm. Located on the outskirts of Xaghra, a lively town filled with shops, restaurants, and a bank, this property offers easy access to the area's local amenities. Just a short drive away lies Ramla Beach, renowned as Gozo's, and arguably Malta's, finest beach. Known for its distinctive red sand, Ramla il-Ħamra (Red Sandy Beach) is a superb spot for swimming, snorkeling, and soaking up the sun. The beach remains largely unspoiled, with only a few cafes and stalls discreetly set back from the shore.

Upon entering Villa Xaghra, a long sunlit corridor welcomes you, leading to the serene pool and garden area on the left, and the main living spaces on the right. The pool area provides a peaceful, private retreat, ideal for sunbathing and dining al fresco. The home retains its original floor tiles, offering a delightful glimpse into its past. The kitchen, dining, and living areas form an open-plan space, perfect for social gatherings with family or friends. A wood-burning stove adds a cozy ambiance during cooler winter evenings.

A stunning stone spiral staircase takes you to the upper level, complemented by an additional outdoor stone staircase, a signature feature of Gozo’s historic farmhouses. It is a fabulous place to swim, snorkel and chill out in the sun. The area around the beach is wonderfully undeveloped, although there are a couple of cafes and a stall set back from the beach.
