But the big city feeling is not long in coming either, as you can reach the island's capital Palma de Mallorca in half an hour by road. Here you will find pretty much everything your heart desires. Perhaps you could combine a trip there with a few relaxing hours on the beach? Platja de Palma or Es Penyo are practically on the way. It's worth packing your swimsuit and a small picnic and relaxing on the sand and listening to the sound of the sea after a lively stroll through the city. The enchanting Villa Sabor de Cas Ferrer is situated in a dreamlike, idyllic location on a beautifully landscaped estate in the centre of the Balearic island. The nearby town of Montuiri is just 3.5 km away. Here you will find a cash machine, a weekly market and a few small shops. The supermarket is also only 4.7 km away. For swimming excursions, you only have to drive the 26 or 28 km to beautiful sandy beaches such as Platja de Palma or Es Plenyo.
