we arrived at Carihuela at 2pm and went for lunch because our check in time was 4pm.after lunch we telephoned the number we had been given, to arrange for someone to meet us at the apartment with the door keys, we were told the person could not get to us until 7-30pm. so we were stuck with all our suitcases and nowhere to go until some one came to meet us. At 7-03 we received a message to be at the destination in 3 minutes. when we met with the woman she was very rude and demanded the final cleaning 100 euros immediately. She told us she was the sister of the usual girl who was unable to come because she had a problem and she had to come instead. She informed us she had had to come a long way to meet us and was very abrupt. Our holiday got off to a bad start, we are two 82 year olds and did not expect to be treated like this it was diabolical. We have been to this property before and never had any problems but due to the way we were treated we have decided to seek alternative accommodation for next year

Had a great time at the property. Communication was great. Everything very clean. Pool was wonderful. Not overlooked. Short walk to the lake. 10 mins walk to Hotel Vinuela for restaurant/bar. Car is recommended for local area. Not secure if you have a dog that likes to explore. Close to a road, you do hear road noise if windows/doors are open but nothing at all when they are closed so not an issue for sleeping. Very quiet residential area. Lots of steps to get down to property from entrance and also within property down to 2nd bedroom and pool area. Recommended & I would love to stay here again.

The only problem with the apartment is the lack of awnings/sun shades on the balcony. When the sun shines from mid afternoon to late evening, you cannot get out of it.

Location is fantastic with this property. Short walk to the bars and restaurants and also to the shop. There was nothing lacking in the kitchen - microwave, fridge/freeze, toaster etc. Downside is that the property has a very small living area which is made smaller as it has very large furniture in it. The bathroom is tiny. The balcony is on the small side too. But if it's location you want then this is ideal. It all felt a bit on the tired side but then its a rental property I guess. As a solo traveller I was ok with the small size of the living accommodation.

Absolutely beautiful property and it was spotless. It was in a wonderful location near lots of bars and restaurants. Lovely outside space as well. 5 stars

We loved it! Spacious and well appointed, a good sized pool, although a bit cool for us in October. We had a hire car and found that everywhere was in easy travelling distance. Large supermarkets are close by, a Boulanger Patisserie in the village, vineyards everywhere! Highly recommended

The property is lovely. Beautiful views, and the area is very pretty. The swimming pool was great to cool off in , and is kept clean. The beds were very comfortable ,as was the sitting area. Really couldn't fault it at all.. Zlatko, the owner was always close if you needed anything, and was very helpful. We would highly recommend.

The property was just what we wanted. A large space to spend time as a family. great pool and facilities. The owner was amazing, always helping us if any issues arise. You would need a car as Ubers don't really like going to the Campo but the owner did arrange a few taxis and even did some journeys to Nerja for us. 5 out of 5

Difficult to find without proper address, clealiness left a lot to de desired,cleaning was 88euros, i think they went to the wrong apartment! No wifi, No air con, cooker not working properly, uncomfortable bed . The veiw from the balcony is good but the smell from the drains spoils it.
