Torrenueva is a very popular area adjoining the village of La Cala de Mijas with its award winning beaches and traditional village charm. In Torrenueva you have a small supermarket which sells most things you will need during your stay. There a quite a few restaurants in Torrenueva, Racquets for your Breakfasts and lunches, Benavera and Las Llaves for evening meals. The apartment is also close to Jardin Botanico which has lots to offer for breakfast, lunch and dinner. For Breakfast you will find Snack Attack which also has an internet café and is very popular with locals and holiday makers and Bar Tuta is a popular evening venue for drinks and the excellent La Bodeguita with its large selections of Wines, Gins, Whiskies. In fact there are lots of restaurants to choose from. The Resort Office for the apartment La Cala Blue can book excursions for you and arrange taxi transfers to and from the apartment.

The apartment is within walking distance to the shops and amenities in La Cala de Mijas, the village offers a wide selection of bars and restaurants and local shops. There are supermarkets and bakeries for fresh supplies for the fridge. There are several not to be missed places in La Cala including La Tona, Konfusion and Legends Show Bar.

There are frequent bus services to Marbella and Fuengirola and from there you can connect to Malaga, Seville and Madrid.
