It really felt a lot of maintinance work that i had to take care of myself on behalf of the owner!!!! ive been spending my summer vacation along with my family in La Cala De Mijas for the past 4 summers. everytime we stay 4 weeks and this has been the worst. here is why! The main door lock machine was fully corroded it was a hassle to lock the door at night. till one day the lock was broken (luckily the lock was open and we were able to go out but couldnt close the door as the locks was out) it was a saturday and we had to call a company to fix charged us 470 euros to fix, we had to pay from our pockets. the owners finally agreed to compensate us for the 470 two weeks later - but not for the wasted day as it took 7 hours to fix ( 3 pm to 10 pm ). WIFI was a nightmare,for the whole 4 weeks we never had a wifi connection.. you can barely send an email.. we at many occassions had to book the social area to use the wifi and get some urgent work done. such a horrible wifi connection.. we couldnt even get in touch with our family if they are in the appartment. the company attempted to fix with no luck and ZERO REIMBURSMENTS for that hassle! let alone the sewege backup or the drain backup in the shower box from the very first day.. they sent some one to clean them and after few days probably 10 days .. it happened again... it really felt a lot of maintinance work that i had to take care of myself on behalf of the owner! not to mention how dirty the appartment was fully of dust in areas like under the beds, behid the drawers etc.. if you are in the appartment with your family you would accept it and have to clean in for the family's best interest. as soon as you report anything, you get answers like " the man will come to fix anytime between 10-2 .. as if you are on your vacation ready to wait all of that time for some maintinance guy.. i remember i had this answer once on a friday and he never showed up. so we ended up waiting till he did came on a monday afternoon! the complex was good the view was amazing however that appartment itself was HORRIBLE and dealing with the agent wasnt helpful as they didnt bring the baby crib we asked for in our communication during the bookings and they werent honest with the master bedroom bed size as we confirmed its 200x200 etc etc etc......!! i am trying to cut short here after all of this terrible experiance i was only offered 75 euro reimbursment ! unbelievable - never coming back!!

We had a really lovely 11 nights in the apartment, which we used as a base to explore the area. The agents were so helpful if and when we needed them during our stay. Nothing was too much trouble. The apartment was excellent - very cool aircon, plenty of space, everything you need to make it home from home etc. We’re in our late 50s and quite fit, but anyone with mobility issues may find the uphill location an issue. We were fine with it, but it’s worth a mention (especially with heavy shopping or luggage).

We’ve stayed in Casa Banderas a few times. This apartment was as described, perfect for our family of 5. Whole process was super smooth. Would recommend.

The apartment was spacious. Bed linen & towels provided were crisp, clean & plentiful. The kitchen had everything & the showers worked well. The pool area was quiet with plenty of grass to sit out on deck chairs. Only 2 minor negatives - a couple of sunbeds & a 3rd set of keys would have been great. Overall a lovely apartment.

Excellent location, excellent facilities however families with young kids need to be made aware there are strict rules around the pool as it limits the fun the kids can have in pool. No inflatable’s, no balls, no tops allowed in water, no umbrellas and the list goes on. There is a security guard who police’s the area throughout the day.

The drain in the parent toilet was clogged. The bed was very loose - the legs was almost falling if. We managed to tighten them and it helped. There was a lot of noise during night from the street. That can’t be helped. We had a lovely holiday though - it is a very nice area. suggestions for improvements: Two tea towels and two rags are not enough for two weeks. It would be nice if the kitchen had basics as salt, pepper, washing up liquid etc.

We loved the size of property, very well equipped, good to have use of beach towels (less to pack for us)...very well situated for beach great outlook, well maintained complex The only thing I would suggest is to provide 2 extra sunbeds (there are 2 currently) and possibly a good mattress topper in main bedroom / and on sofa bed....we would definitely recommend and would stay again thank you.

Plenty space clean and quiet great view of the pool and very private and secure

Property lovely and spacious Plenty of room for all family Could have had some loungers and parasol for around the pool provided - bought our own Having the Correct keys on arrival for all gates but that was rectified Nice property

Fabulous apartment in a great location. We have stayed at the Azul before so chose the apartment based on this, the apartment was lovely inside and was very well equipped, the only thing missing for us (and this is a minor detail and down to personal preference) was a cafetière/coffee pot, also there were 2 sun loungers which I assume were for use around the pool, however these looked as though they’d hadn’t been moved for some time and were broken/unusable. This did not spoil our stay and we would definitely stay again & wouldn’t hesitate in recommending to others
