Colcott Cottage is a cosy and traditional property located in the village of Fylingthorpe, not far from Whitby and Robin Hood’s Bay. With three bedrooms sleeping up to six guests, one bathroom, and beautiful outdoor space with furniture for relaxing and dining, you can escape to Colcott Cottage and enjoy a self-catering stay.

The Space:
Colcott Cottage has been furnished and equipped to a very good standard offering ideal accommodation for small groups or families.

This two-story home features a living room and spacious kitchen diner, both with direct access to the private garden, plus three bedrooms and one bathroom.

The living room is a comfortable space featuring two large sofas, a log burning fire and a flat screen Smart TV. This is the ideal space for relaxing evenings with your loved ones.

The modern and spacious kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could need for a self-catering stay. The dining table with benched seating creates a lovely space for social cooking.

Leading on from the kitchen is the bathroom which offers a bathtub with overhead shower, WC and wash basin, along with underfloor heating.

Colcott Cottage features three comfortable bedrooms – one double, one king and one twin. With sumptuous bedding and luxury linens you are guaranteed a peaceful night sleep in these comfy beds. Please note that there are steep stairs leading up to the third bedroom.

The private garden that forms the outdoor space is ideal for relaxing and dining al-fresco. With comfortable outdoor sofas and sun loungers at the bottom end of the garden, and a dining set on the pebbled patio area, Colcott Cottage offers the perfect spot for enjoying those long summer evenings in beautiful surroundings.

Guest Access:
Guests have access to the full property. The keys to Colcott Cottage are accessed via a key safe box, and full details will be provided prior to check in.

Free on-street parking is available around Fylingthorpe on a first come, first served basis.

A maximum of two well-behaved dogs are welcome to stay at Colcott Cottage per reservation.

The Neighborhood:
Six miles to the south of Whitby, the villages of Fylingthorpe and Robin Hood's Bay are simply picturesque. It is a fantastic place for adults and children alike with a beautiful family and dog friendly sandy beach, as well as rock pools to explore and ancient fossils to discover.

Wandering through narrow, twisting, cobbled streets and alleyways, you can easily imagine the sailors and fishermen, smugglers and press gangs that walked these streets hundreds of years ago.

Today Robin Hood’s Bay is a vibrant village, with a wide range of cafes, pubs, restaurants, small shops and places to explore, as well as many stunning coastal and country walks, cycle-paths and bridleways right on the doorstep.

Getting Around:
The nearest train station to Fylingthorpe can be found in Whitby where there are direct routes to Middlesbrough, Thornaby-on-Tees, Stockton-on-Tees, Hartlepool, Sunderland, Newcastle, Hexham and Carlisle.

One bus route can be found running through Fylingthorpe. Hop on the X93 to visit Whitby, Scarborough, Guisborough and Middlesbrough.

The nearest airport is Teesside International, 46 miles away from Fylingthorpe.
