Marcana is a small village and municipality of the same name in the southern part of Istria, about 15 km north of Pula, the largest city in Istria. The villa is in a rural location and yet the beaches and resorts along this coastline are only a few kilometers away. The nearest beach is Duga Uvala (approx. 6 km). The popular resort of Medulin and the beautiful sights and cultural events of Pula are also close by and are ideal for those seeking entertainment, dining and shopping opportunities.
The location of the villa offers a perfect balance of tranquillity and private enjoyment, away from the city bustle and tourist crowds, but at the same time is not far from all the important places in Istria. One of the most beautiful national parks in this part of Europe - Brijuni Islands is also located in this region. The islands can be reached by boat from Fazana, only about 20 km from the villa.
