Kringa is located in central Istria, five kilometers south of Tinjan on the site of an Iron Age building that was later a Roman fortress, the second largest settlement in the municipality of Tinjan. The region is known for its cuisine and there are many good restaurants nearby. The interior of Istria, with mountain villages and beautiful scenery, is ideal for driving, cycling and hiking. The Adriatic coast and the tourist town of Porec, all the beaches of Istria, the historical sights and other places of interest are only a short drive away. A grocery store, bar and an excellent tavern are within walking distance. You can also buy groceries directly from local producers.
