Coral Bay approximately is the well known beach resort for the Paphos district and has become a lively resort with plenty to offer in terms of amenities and activities. The center of the resort features a wide selection of restaurants offering both Cypriot and International Cuisines, cafes, bars, shops, a choice of supermarkets, several banks, a chemist and a laundry. The resort boasts two sandy beaches, the closest one to the villa being Corallia Bay, the quieter of the two. The popular and busy Coral Bay Beach, a sandy horseshoe shaped bay honoured with a Blue Flag of the European Union. Sunbeds and umbrellas are available for hire, water sports are on offer and there are two beach cafes providing refreshments. You can enjoy water sports here. Untouched nature and clean beaches, orchards and banana plantations, fruit gardens surround this area of Paphos. Protected zone of Akamas National Park only 5 km from the villa. Popular zoo with birds park located in a few kilometers from the villa. All kinds of infrastructure, such as a supermarket, mini markets, various shops, bars, restaurants, bank, bus stop, children's play center are within walking distance from the villa.

For a taste of the more traditional, approximately a few kilometers away is the Church at St George which overlooks the modest fishing harbor from where you can enjoy some of the islands most memorable sunset views and enjoy a traditional Cypriot meze meal at one of the small selection of family run tavernas. For nature lovers the start of the protected Akamas Peninsula is just to the north of the village.

Paphos Town approximately 15 kilometers away, was once the capital of the island is now included in the official UNESCO list of cultural and natural treasures of the world's heritage. The remains of villas, palaces, theaters, fortresses and tombs mean that the town is of exceptional architectural and historic value. The well preserved mosaics and the Tombs of the Kings are probably the biggest cultural draw with further archaeological discoveries continually being made. Ano Pafos on the cliff is the main administrative center and residential district while Kato Pafos, by the sea, is the main tourist area built around the harbor and medieval port.

The Paphos Zoo and the Horse Riding Stables which cater for all ages are both within the Sea Caves area and only a few minutes drive away. Mini golf, water sports and go-karting are all activities available in the resort of Coral Bay and if you extend your exploring to encompass the town of Paphos, the list of available activities expands to include a snooker hall, bowling alley, water park, several Heritage sites, attractive harbor area and modern shopping facilities.

There are 4 golf courses; Tsada Golf Course, Secret Valley Golf Course, Aphrodite Hills Golf Course and Elea Golf Course all within approximately a 40 minute drive.

Coral Bay is the most popular beach in the Paphos district. It is a crescent moon of fine sand, with a scattering of shingle and rock, shelving gently into the sea. There are three tavernas on the beach and adequate toilet facilities. This is a busy beach in peak season and is perfect for children and water sport fanatics alike.

Within driving distance (or a long walk) is the town of Peyia. Polis and Latchi and other landmarks are all within easy reach. Regular bus services to Paphos, Peyia and other areas are available throughout the day.

Golfers have an ideal opportunity to tackle the challenging courses at Aphrodite Hills, Secret Valley and Tala within picturesque surroundings. For the more adventurous seeking walking treks and historical monuments, there are the Akamas mountains and Troodas mountains These are all within easy reach, taking about 30 minutes by car .

The main tourist resort are bustling with shops, markets, museums, art galleries, restaurants, nightclubs, the list is endless! However, there are still many smaller 'villages' where life carries on as it has done for decades. Take some time to explore the villages and see traditional handicrafts being made. Here Cypriot life is at a very Cypriot pace, slowly, slowly!

Mountain biking and hiking are possible, with specially marked trails, on the Akamas Peninsula and in the Troödos, where also in winter Cyprus' only ski resort can be found on the north-eastern face of Mount Olympus. Plus, what Mediterranean resort these days would not be without a golf course or two - there are several courses that have been completed or under construction, with the most popular in the Paphos district, being located at Tsada not too far from the Villa.
