Vine Ridge Retreats sits high up just less than one hour from Malaga near the amazing, unspoilt and historically important village of Comares, seeing is believing.
Please note we live 1 mile up a standard Andalusia track, you do not need a 4 x 4 but you need to plod up, the climb and area leads to these amazing views, which are simply stunning.
This is a village steeped in Moorish history and beautiful throughout.

From Vine Ridge Retreats you can get to the coast in 30 minutes, lakes in 20 minutes and cities such as Malaga in 1 hour and Granada with it's world famous Alhambra palace in 2 hours.
The stunning costa del sol is only a 30 minute drive.
We are situated in a perfect location for you to have a restful and mesmerising holiday but also for you to explore this diverse and stunning part of Southern Spain.
If you desire, Sun, walking , bike rides , horse riding, bird watching or simply relaxing then you have found it at Vine Ridge Retreats.
Please note if you do wish to walk to Comares which depends on your fitness levels is achievable in 30 minutes and in peak season would be very hot then a car is recommended, we have many walkers keen to come to Vine Ridge Retreats mid and off season, if though you wish to explore further afield then a car is recommended as although buses are clean and cheap they are not frequent.

Just arrived back from a 10 day stay at Vine Ridge. David and Jaqui are great hosts and have a wealth of knowledge of the area.
