Apartment is situated about three minutes from the beach - only 6 apartments in the block, so not crowded.

There are books for you to use should you wish, games and playing cards, there's also a selection of DVDs should the weather not be good - but these don't get used very often! If at all!

Shops and restaurants are less than 5 mins walk and the local bus runs close to the apartment. The main town of Fethiye is about short bus ride away, or you can take the water taxi straight into the centre.

Calis Beach: The Area

Çaliş (pronounced Chalish) is a lovely up-and-coming family resort area, with lots to offer. Very friendly resort with lost to offer.

Spread along the beachfront and off the main roads around the resort, a mainly pedestrianized boulevard with limited traffic access.

For those seeking a beach location and a compact, easily accessible resort. Best for families and quiet-loving couples. Some nightlife, but plentiful transport to nearby Fethiye town, which has a greater selection.

A long, narrow arc of dark sand and shingle lined with sun loungers and shades extends round a broad bay with sheltered waters. Backed by an appealing, mainly pedestrianized boulevard with a grassy verge and small trees lit for evening strolls. Safe to swim; some water sports offered. Turtles lay eggs in the sand at certain times of the year.

A selection of shops with jewellery, clothes, shoes, beachwear and water-sports equipment. Many small, well-stocked minimarket. Fethiye town has abundant shops and a large covered market (Tuesdays). Calis also has a market on Sunday mornings.
