Authentic farmhouse for holidays from the year 1600, 5 km from Sarteano and 10 km from Chianciano Terme away. Originally a monastery, it now consists of three residential units with private pool. The estate is located at 600 m asl and is surrounded by the beautiful landscape of the Val d'Orcia, you can enjoy a view over the typical Crete Senesi up to Monte Amiata: the view is wonderful. The two units are surrounded by a spacious green area and offer privacy and tranquility, the swimming pool overlooking the Val d'Orcia complement this fabulous offer. It is an ideal destination for those who are fond of walking or cycling. The first building is on two levels: on the ground floor is a large living area consisting of living room with fireplace, large dining room and a kitchen. On the first floor are two bedrooms - a double and a twin bedroom - and a bathroom. The second building consists of a living room with fireplace, a small kitchen, two double bedrooms, a twin bedroom and a shared bathroom. There is also an annex - accessible via the courtyard - with a twin bedroom and bathroom. Art lovers will be able to explore an environment rich in history and monuments with witnesses from the Etruscans to the Renaissance: Chiusi, Pienza, Montpulciano and Montalcino, Siena (65 km) and Florence (130 km). For a relaxing day, you can enjoy the thermal waters of Chianciano Terme or San Casciano dei Bagni. Complement your active days with a dish of traditional local cuisine, where the motto is "magiare bene e sano", "eat good and healthy", accompanied by wines such as the Brunello or the Nobile di Montepulciano. The exact dimensions will vary from property to property but the agent has specified that bed sizes are as follows:

  • A single bed is typically 70cm to 85 cm wide and 180cm to 190cm deep.
  • A double bed is typically 140cm to 180cm wide and 180cm to 190cm deep.
  • A “grand lit” is a European double bed, suitable for couples, and can be smaller than the usual UK or American doubles. It is typically 130cm wide but in some instances may be wider; it is approximately 180cm to 190cm deep.

A bunk bed is two single beds, one on top of another. Some properties also have pull-out beds, sofa beds and/or bed chairs; in a few properties the bed can be low in a wooden frame on the floor. The beds often have terry cloth sheet mattress protectors to protect the mattresses; please use them with the bed linen.

Some properties may have a loft as a bedroom: this is usually an open room at the top of the house with sloping walls and mattresses on a low bed or on the floor itself.
