With its mini-market selling fresh (natural) organic produce, coffee shops and friendly locals, you won’t have to travel far to get the most out of your holiday. The nearby village of Steni (2km) provides a further choice of coffee shop and traditional taverna for dining during the day or in the evening. The church, St. Barnabas and Hilarion Church, has five domes on the roof arranged in the shape of a cross, a feature only seen on one other church in the island. Peristerona is always a very green village due to the lush vegetation. It all looks particularly special in winter and spring months and is ideal for photographers, artists and those who like to walk and even hike. It is also home to the famous ‘museum of Arsinoe’ showcasing a stunning collection of Byzantine artefacts.
Slightly further afield, you will find further amenities such as larger supermarkets, pharmacy, petrol station, and the more extensive choice of bars, restaurants, shops etc in Polis (8km). The nearest beach is at Latchi (12km) which is well known as one of the best on the island. ''We loved this villa. Is just as described from the website. The downstairs area is spacious. The Kitchen fully equipped, with a drinking water tap which isn't mentioned on the website which was great. The TV, after help from Demitri had quite a lot of channels . We mainly used just the BBC news channel but you can get many more. Signal was intermittent but it was ok. Wi Fi great to keep up with home, business etc. Katerina called by and she was very helpful-both lovely owners. Fly screens were a bonus as most nights were just too hot and we found these most useful. Loved the loan of beach towels which were a great size and very soft. Have had flimsy towels from villas in the past but these were lovely. Infact all the towels, sheets etc were of excellent quality. The pool a fantastic size and very clean. Used the table tennis most days. We didn't use the BBQ but all utensils etc were there and everything perfectly clean. Couldn't fault this villa at all.
The location is beautiful. Secluded, peaceful and we just loved the tranquility of the place. Lovely views over countryside. The weather helped as the sun shined every day we were there and was very hot, just as we like it. We ate at Finakas, Moustakallis and Chix Chox in Polis. Lovely food at each of them. We had many drinks at a little bar just as you entered the 'main street'. Lovely owners who made us very welcome. Spent a couple of evenings at Mikes Coffee shop in Lysos, which is a quaint little village and also ate at Paradisos Hills Hotel for a couple of Lunches which was also nice. The Watermill at Steni was also a great little restaurant for drinks and food. South African owners who were a lovely family.
Steven at Lets rent Online helped us with choosing the villas and everything regarding the booking process went smoothly. All my emails were answered promptly and we would certainly book with Lets rent online again. A perfect villa in a perfect location. Will definitely return''.

Thank you for a wonderful holiday and for arranging our visit to Villa Lee, along with all your help and communication throughout the holiday booking process. Excellent standard it had all the facilities required. It was exceptionally clean and very spacious. Good location for supermarket and two local villages. An easy drive to the main town of Polis. Very secluded villa. The local museum in Steni village was interesting. Very satisfied with all service. Exceeded my expectations. We have been visiting Cyprus for over 10 years now and the Retreat is by far the best Villa we have stayed in.
I would also like to say that we visited villa Lee (arranged by yourselves) this villa was also of an exceptional standard. We met the owners of both the Retreat and Villa Lee and found them to be very accommodating, helpful and friendly. Both villas were spotlessly clean. I would highly recommend both villas and lets rent online. Once again many thanks and we are hoping to return next year. Tina

"The villa was very good. The Villa turned out to be everything we hoped for. The swimming pool was magnificent and also the view. The Location is also very well, not within walking distance to the village or shops. But not too far by car. Latchi Watersport for renting a speedboat, wonderful experience. Paradisos Hill Hotel for a Sunday Lunch really worth it, great food. No complaints, everything very clear. Communications via the email and chat very helpful and easy. Katrina & Dimitri were very kind and helpful.

"The property was amazing, everything you need. The location is superb. We like quiet and out of the way so it suited us perfectly, there is everything you need in Polis which is only a 10 min drive and if you want more its too far to Paphos. There are some lovely restaurants and tavernas in Polis, try Finikas, Moustakallas and Chix Chos, all very good and the staff are very attentive. There are plenty in Latsi too but they are slightly more expensive. Take a drive up the Troodos mountains, the views are spectacular. The service provided by Letsrentonline.com was as usual very good!

"Hi, The villa was spacious and well maintained and located in a superb rural setting. There were local grocery shops a couple of minutes drive from the villa and larger shops in Polis which is around a fifteen minute drive. In Polis there were also plenty of restaurants to choose from. If you have a car I would say that the whole of Cyprus is pretty much a sightseeing trip though I would especially recommend a trip to the mountains and along coast of the Akamas Peninsula. The service provided by LetsRentOnline.Com was faultless as was that provided by the owner. In Britain we have a saying If it isnt broken, dont try and fix it, and bearing that in mind I would have to say that I have no suggestions of how to improve the service. We would love to visit Cyprus again and if we did so we would definitely want to stay in one of your villas. You may use my name and comments if you wish. I would just like to add that throughout the whole process of booking the villa we were made to feel confident and well informed by yourselves. Thank you very much. Steve and Family.
