English Mum blogger Becky is a mum of two, writer, foodie, keen traveller and above all a Disney enthusiast! Between Becky’s busy home life and her glamorous trips ticking off her holiday bucket-list destinations, we’ve managed to catch her for a quick fire round of questions on her favourite topic…

Hi Becky, what advice would you have for a family visiting Disney World Orlando for the first time?

Do your research, read a few blogs, and have a look at a few books, maybe. Then make a list of the things that you'd all like to see and do, but don't get too overwhelmed, nobody can do it all!

When is the best time of year to visit?

Obviously school holidays are the busiest.  I always recommend October, November and early December (avoiding Thanksgiving) as it's quieter. Just before and after Easter isn't too bad either.

What tips would you have for feeding the family at Disney?

Look for the Free Dine offers!  Walt Disney World often have booking offers that include dining plans.  A family of four can save hundreds of pounds.

What’s your favourite Disney attraction?

What, just one?  I love Pirates of the Caribbean, and It's a Small World.  My boys love Space Mountain.  I'm desperate to go and visit the new Disney Springs area too.

When staying in Orlando, what else is there to see apart from Disney?

Well, there's obviously Universal (don't miss Diagon Alley at Wizarding World of Harry Potter) and all the great water parks, but aside from those, there's great shopping, loads of outdoor activities like golf and cycling, amazing museums, arts and music... all sorts of things to see and do.
