We came to Ardmair bay last year 2015 and were so blown away by the house that we came back again this year! It is an amazing property with everything that you could possibly need with truly spectacular views.
We were lucky enough to meet the owners last year, and they are a fantastic couple and nothing is to much trouble .
We highly recommend this property and are looking forward to returning again in 2017.
We enjoyed the house so much that we barely ventured out of Ardmair! The views from the property are incredible, rain or shine. The facilities were excellent too - fantastic hot tub, cosy log burning stove, and all the fixtures and fittings were high quality. This was an ideal retreat and I'm quite sure we will be back again.

Hand on heart I can't find a single thing to to say about Ardmair Bay House other than *wow*.
Everything we could possibly have wanted was supplied, including dressing gowns and slippers! The wood burning stove was a great success on an evening after a dip in the hot tub. The bedrooms were very welcoming and the bathrooms inviting, all of which are individually designed to a very high standard. On our visits to local towns (Ullapool and Lockinver) we were met with friendly locals and great food. We were very fortunate that the weather was so mild in January that we were able to sit on the patio in the mornings and take in the fabulous views of the Coigach mountains.
This a great base for walkers or more adventurous climbers, but also a wonderful place to relax and chill with family and friends. We will definitely be returning!
This property is amazing the owners have thought of everything. It's perfect for couples and families. The views are fantastic and it's so peaceful. Every room is well thought out and is equipped with everything you can think of. There's dressing gowns and slippers for every guest which is ideal for using the hot tub. If there was 6 stars available then this property would get them. Don't hesitate to book this is a truly amazing place to stay.
Arrived tired!! Opened the door and was overwhelmed with the house and all it had to offer, we were so relieved and really happy to be celebrating our 25th anniversary in this stunning property. Everything has been tastfully and carefully thought out. You will want for nothing!! Beautiful furniture and fixings and comfortable beds. The master bedroom has a balcony but the other bedroom with a view has the best view of the bay so you will have to toss a coin as to who has what room! We were blessed with good weather and the sunsets were out of this world - night time offers a display of shooting stars. My favourite flowers in the kitchen and some local goodies in the fridge which we devoured like little piglets!!! - Get some more items to take home with you from the Ullapool smokehouse - cheese/ trout/ and salmon were heaven.....We will definitely be back, the only issue was the midges, we were bitten alive - I have it on good authority that Avon skin so soft oil spray repels them (military use it) so we just have to come back to test this out! Really beautiful and fabulous place, you will not be disappointed.....Thank you to the owners.........and the housekeepers who keep it spotless!
Another absolutely fantastic holiday at Ardmair Bay House, and once again the weather was brilliant. The only down side were the dreaded midge, unlike last year the little horrors were out in number this year, so we never ventured near the hot tub as we got eaten alive sitting out on the patio. That aside the holiday was wonderfully relaxing (even if we did do a lot of driving), but we wanted to see as much of the coastal areas as possible, so we went out via Ledmore, Rosehall, Lairg then on to join the A9 at Kirkton, off to John O'Groats then return via Thurso, Tongue, Durness, Scourie and Newton. Well worth the drive!
