We had a fabulous 2 weeks chilling with the kids. Plenty of room in the villa with the pool and garden being more than adequate for a family of 4. Villa is well laid out and suited our needs perfectly. Easy walk into the centre of Gocek where there are plenty of places for you to enjoy eating out, or returning back to the villa with some fresh food and enjoying a relaxing evening with a cold glass of wine on the veranda. I can write this now weve booked again for next year!!
Weve just returned from two wonderful weeks at Villa Jasmin. The garden and pool are just beautiful and the loungers and spaces to sit/eat/read are excellent. Swimming towels provided was such a bonus! The air conditioning was efficient and quiet giving us a good nights sleep (except the call to prayer in the mornings). The villa was immaculate and very well appointed with plenty of room for the 4 of us. Not much space to put food if you were planning to cook at the villa every day but loads of dishes/glasses and cooking equipment. Great fridge space and the water cooler saved carrying lots of bottles of water. Not masses of space for clothes and shoes, esp in the master bedroom. We did not hire a car which made the holiday all the more relaxing - its only a 5-10 min walk into Gocek with its plentiful choice of great restaurants and cafes. Easy to book car hire, taxi or chauffered trips to places of interest. Sunday market is excellent for all food requirements and dont miss out on the pancake breakfast with Turkish or apple tea! Also very good for all sorts of other goods (2 min walk from villa). We recommend 12-island tour: just go down to the marina and catch one of the many boats. YTL25-30 pp including lunch (about £13) for a trip from 10am-6pm. Saklikent Gorge is also worth a trip, especially the fun rafting (in rubber rings) although I a bruise on my bum the size of an apple! Thanks, Lesley

Just back after three wonderful weeks at villa jasmine with my friend. We had a great time. The villa is very comfortable with every gadget that you could possibly need, including an ipod speaker! There is great seating inside the villa, from comfortable sofas to a large dining table with chairs. Air conditioning in the downstairs area and also in the three bedrooms, to help with the uncomfortable warm nights, and a warm blanket on hand to help with the colder ones! Outside the villa the seating area is great for reading, sunbathing, afternoon drinks and light snacks. The small dining table was also great for takeaway meals from the village and light lunches. The bigger table at the bottom of the garden was perfect for entertaining with our other friends who were also staying in gocek. The pool area is amazing, the gardener visits daily ensuring the pool and the garden are kept to the highest standard and the pool is checked every day except Sunday, which is his day off. The sun beds are great for relaxing and pool towels and cushions are also provided which is great. The Sunday market is a short walk, the fruit, vegetables and herbs on offer are amazing, fresh and remarkably cheaper than back home. The variety of other goods is unbelievable and the quality of the bags, towels, music items and clothing is high. A slightly further walk takes you to the village where there is a great range of supermarkets which stock local and imported goods, restaurants with a very high standard of food, local craft stores, holiday shops, clothes stores, leather goods and of course boat suppliers and pool stores, obviously for the local marinas and their visitors. Some of the restaurants offer a take out facility, and a return taxi journey to and from the villa will cost you approximately £8 which is a great value when you are carrying the weekly shopping. The villa also has an electric water cooler, which saves you carrying heavy water battles. When its empty, you call the water supplier and a bottle is with you in 10 mins. The local resturant staff are very friendly as are the shopkeepers and banks, where all the staff speak good English. We hired a car from Tuncer at Orion Car Hire. This was a fantastic service, any problems you just call him, and we visited several of the nearby towns and villages using the local map and following the road signs. The restaurants, food and shops in all these nearby towns was also great. A very relaxing holiday which we will be repeating. Mhairi, Glasgow
Gocek is a lovely place to visit if youre looking for a relaxing, quiet, battery-recharging holiday. This villa was a great find for us, and we would definitely return to Gocek and to this house. It is very tastefully decorated with traditional furnishings and local antique finds, and the house is kitted out with everything youd need for your time away. It is spotlessly clean and very well maintained. Even though the house is fantastic, youll still want to spend most of your time outside by the pool in the private, secluded, well maintained garden (the gardener/handyman came in early most mornings to ensure the place remained pristine). There are three separate outside seating areas including a comfortable area for enjoying drinks by the pool. The location is great - Gocek is only a 30 minute transfer from Dalaman airport (the owner organised the transfer for us). Once you arrive you wont need a car. The house is really well situated: located towards the back of the older part of the village on a quiet road, it is not overlooked by lots of other villas, yet still less than 10 minutes walk down to the marina where you will find a choice of local supermarkets, bars, restaurants and good shopping opportunities. Villa Jasmin, Gocek is really lovely and spacious. Its very clean and so comfortable, we settled in immediately. It is very well equipped, a real home from home. The pool and garden area is really private and quiet with plenty of options for lounging, sitting and dining alfresco. We found plenty of nice, welcoming places to eat out in the village, which was only a 10 minute stroll away, along with some locally crafted gift shops. It really is the ideal place for a relaxing away from it all holiday and we hope to return again next summer. Janette, Glasgow, June/July 2014
We had a lovely stay at Villa Jasmin, such a pretty villa with fantastic outside space. Everything you could need is there - all the kitchen equipment, pool towels and inflatables, board games, DVDs and books, and a great starter pack of groceries - and thankfully (it was 36 degrees when we were there) the air conditioning is brilliant! Our kids (3 and 9) loved the pool, its all one depth (1.6m I guess) so you do need to watch little ones but it was a perfect temperature and the sunbeds and seating area around it are so comfy. We built shady dens in the gardens for the kids to hide in from the sun, and spent many happy evenings BBQing kofte and drinking Efes...bliss. Its just a short walk (8 mins maybe?) to Gocek, and there are lots of bars and restaurants to choose from. We loved Can, Ikaros, Blue and Cafe West, but there were no bad meals and the marina views are great. We didnt love the Gocek Island beach but hired a car and drove to Olu Deniz or Dalyan in 45 minutes, and both have stunning beaches. And anyway, we always ended the day splashing in our own pool after a hot trip out! Would definitely reccommend a stay here, maybe not for die hard beach lovers but if you want a pretty, well equipped property close to town but still peaceful and relaxing, with space for you and your family to run around, then this might be what youre looking for. Villa Jasmin is an excellent villa, I spent a week there with my sister-in-law in June, we had such a peacefull relaxing time. The pool and garden were fantastic, the villa was so homely everything you could think of was there, the villa was so clean and well maintained. In the evenings we would walk into Gocek village which was about a ten minute walk from the villa and had dinner at some of the lovely restaurants which were there. Would highly recommend this villa for a peacefull relaxing break in a little bit of paradise. Margaret Monaghan, June 2014
Villa Jasmin is an exceptional villa, spacious but full of comfortable homely touches, water cooler in the kitchen & neck cushions for reading on the sun beds were our favourite! The garden is delightful, with thoughtfully positioned seating/eating areas dotted about to follow the shade if you wish.Peaceful but only 10 mins walk to lovely Gocek village, full of fabulous restaurants & cafes (Kebab Hospital & West Café our favourites), with a fantastic view looking out to the sea.The villa is clean & beautifully maintained inside & out. Lesley the owner & Ozge who looked after us during our stay couldnt be more helpful or friendly. The pool & garden is looked after daily too. Highly recommend boat trip on Sirdar SS, thoroughly enjoyed the day (twice), kids did too (age 9 & 5), & the lunch on board was delicious. A lovely villa in a lovely village, perfect for us with young children, we all had a wonderful holiday.Karin Phelan, November 2013.
We rented Villa Jasmin for 9 nights in May, we were very impressed. Lesley the owner was there to meet me and show me around -explaining how things work. She had stocked the fridge with a substantial hamper, the villa is furnished to a high standard, all the comforts of home are provided. The Villa was very well equipped in the kitchen, we only cooked a couple of meals as the restaurants in Gocek are very good and not expensive. The villa is very spacious, very clean and the outside is superb too. Lovely garden - nice to sit in one of the many seating area - heavenly smells from the jasmin and honeysuckle. Pool was cleaned daily. Highly recommended.Andrea Hart, May 2014.
This was a great property. The location was ideal - only a short walk to the centre of Gocek, which is a bonus on either a hot day or after a night out! The villa itself was presented very thoughtfully, with a well-equipped kitchen and very nice outside space. It was very quiet and the pool was much appreciated. The host before the rental was brilliant and exceeded my expectations in terms of helpful advice. I would thoroughly recommend Villa Jasmin for a relaxing break.Felicity Titjen, July/August 2014.
