This is our second stay at this property within six months and will probably stay there again. The owners Ian and Renee are very friendly and are quick to do repairs when asked. We have no negatives about the property and we enjoyed our stay there. KeithRead more
The villa is located in a small farming village, 1.5km from the coast. The village has numerous high quality villa's , mainly foreign ownership, located along a couple of roads, very well integrated into the area so as to keep the laid back village feel. The local bar which is run by a lovely Thai lady called "Won" is the one stop shop for everything from Mopeds to home cooked Thai food, it is also the local meeting point in the evening if you want to drink a beer and chat away with the very friendly foreign community. Do not be surprised to see cattle and chickens wandering past. I would recommend that you have some form of transport so that you can get to the coast and visit some of the excellent coffee bars or restaurants, not forgetting the beaches. The roads are very quiet so I had a couple of mopeds which served the purpose well. The villa is lovely with 8 on-suite double/twin rooms , all air conditioned with a high standard of cleanliness and all placed around a large pool with a covered communal area which has a fantastic bar, music center, disco lighting and comfy seating and tables where you can enjoy a real get together with everyone. If you fancy eating inside then there is also an open plan, air conditioned kitchen/Lounge with seating. The hosts Ian and Teresa were fantastic, taking us to the market and showing us around the local area the first day, giving us good pointers on where to go for food, drink, beaches, jet skis etc. If you want a nice relaxing holiday, exploring the area visiting traditional local restaurants and bars at a very laid back pace, then this area is ideal. If its nightlife and shopping you want, then head to Hua Hin, it is 30-40 mins away in a taxi.Read more
We enjoyed staying at nicks villa, it has a lovely pool, it is in a small village with a shop and bar about 100 meters away where you can get some lovely Thai food and meet the locals. The villa had everything we wanted if I was being very picky blackout curtains would have been nice. Ian and Theresa who look after the property are very nice and sorted out taxis and bike hire for us. We hope to return next yearRead more

Mountain Beach Villa is situated in a very quiet area and you need a car to get around, and to also get to restaurants. It is not a place for rowdiness & loud night life. It is however, a great place from which to explore the local area & the Thai National Parks at Kha Sam Roi Yot, Phraya Nakon Cave & Kui Buri Park. The villa is very well equipped & you'll want for nothing in the way of kitchen equipment. The beds are very comfortable & we had a very relaxing stay.Read more

Villas in Hua Hin
Hua Hin is a cosmopolitan mixture of city and beach, made fashionable in the 1920s when Thailand’s royal family decided to build their summer palaces here, and still today it remains a weekend escape for the elite of Bangkok.
Well set up for holiday-makers, there are lively markets (including the famous night market) and long, clean beaches. Seafood is inexpensive, and restaurants abundant, yet it retains more of a tranquil, family atmosphere and some traces of its fishing village charm than some other beach destinations in Thailand.
If you fancy a bit more than just relaxing in the sun on the beautiful sweeping beach looking out at the Gulf of Thailand, Hua Hin is well-known for kitesurfing and horse-riding along the beach. Visit temples and other cultural and historical sights, national parks, or use the cheap public transport to go island-hopping. Many of our villas are just minutes from Hua Hin Beach – start your search here…
